BBC4 are showing the Jeff Lynne/E.L.O documentary and last year's Hyde Park Concert again on Friday night.

Worth a watch for those of you who are still on the fence about him being a headliner contender.

It's going to be Florence isn't it. The only reason we are debating it is because of the comment from Emily saying "it's not her but she could" or words to that extent.

No other slots at any UK festovals announced (big weekend not included) the only reason for this being that she's got the Glasto slot in the bag.

I mean of course we need to speculate to stay sane.. but im Sure it'll be florence 100% sure even!

There's just no way she wouldn't be at any other festivals if all she was going to do is sub..

Unless as I believe Neil has hinted at the "she could be" relates to her being ready to step up should they not get P*****.

I know she's a friend of the festival and she would probabaly be willing to accept that if it were as above. But she could of had her pick of most UK festivals this year.

It won't be the purple one and florence has it in the bag,

Now we just need then line up first thing tomororw to confirm this as all ive done today is check Twitter every hour on the hour!

I've been thinking Florence all along despite what Emily said. I can't see how she's big enough to headline though.

Headlined Latitude and Bestival and subbed a few of the major fests already and shifts gig tickets quicker than a few recent headliners. I can obviously see why people would be iffy on her headlining as it's the first major one but I think it's hard to argue for clearer choices to move up to the top line at major festivals. Pretty much why it's been predicted since post #1 of this rollercoaster.
