davefrompompey
If it's stuff like the Mr. Blobby song or DJ Otzi, that's moreso when it's a guilty pleasure because you know it's shit but you like it. Mr Blobby is now right at the top of my wish list.
Matt42
She's better than Kasabian. And Mumford. Put together, probably. I don't know. I'd go and enjoy her set if she didn't clash with anybody else, but she's not big enough either within the UK or with Glasto's demographic to actually headline, is she? I just can't see it happening, myself. That said, if she did play I couldn't see her not headlining, so who knows. Why the sudden speculation, anyway? She's already confirmed she can't do one out of three dates, and she'd never play Friday night, so it'd mean she'd go from Hyde Park on Saturday night to Pilton on Sunday. The distance has been done before (hell, even Dolly managed it) but it's unlikely, isn't it? She's not expected like Dolly was.Thing is she's a younger act, she's had touring schedules that acts like dolly or the stones couldn't pull off. Thing I've seen her do something like play two shows in New York Monday and Tuesday and then a show in AUS on the Friday and Saturday. She also often plays consecutive dates, I don't think we can play the (she's playing a show the previous night) card. I reckon if she's playing shel headline the Sunday, or if the eavi are good at persuading she could be a very (and possibly the strongest) glastonbury sub but it would have to be under someone who is without a doubt much bigger than her. Oh and Is no one going to mention, that dolly playing last year could have something to do this? Foo fighters, AC/DC and Taylor swift would be a trio stronger than 2011, which I argue is glastonburys strongest trio. neil999
she might want to do it? didnt she date ed sheeran? maybe he's told her all about it and that or she might not be bothered at all and be influenced by her management(more likely)
LondonTom
Taylor Swift? Jesus! Have some of you guys not seen a pretty woman before? She can play a couple of chords so gets a pass compared to how people react to usual big Pop acts, It really does confuse me how some see her! I'd think I'd rather see Rihanna or Lady GaGa tbh
Guy Incognito
Has there actually been anything to fuel these Taylor Swift rumours or is it just mere speculation? I'm praying that its the latter
dentalplan
Has there actually been anything to fuel these Taylor Swift rumours or is it just mere speculation? I'm praying that its the latter She's playing a show in London the same weekend.. Resident charts nutter declares her as headliner because of how many albums she's sold in country-mad US. Gucci Piggy
I watched the first 2 Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways documentaries on iPlayer last night. Thoroughly enjoyed them, and I think I'd be really excited if Foos were announced to play now. Feast and the Famine is a MASSIVE tune! I thought the second one was out this coming Sunday? bekimo
I for one would be shocked if ACDC were confirmed. After a conversation I had with the Download organisers where they said they would NEVER book them again (basically due to their diva behaviour and demands - like having their own stage and not using the ACDC name on any merch for example) I would be surprised if Glastonbury put up with it! I think I'd put money on Foos at this point. They've said they're doing a uk fest but not (listing everyone apart from download and glasto) and they are in Europe in June. Makes sense. russycarps
2009 pisses over 2011's trio. And over the one you mention. he's deranged. Doves Bruce Springsteen Blur were a great set of headliners. (apart from bruce springsteen).

Mardy
Young, bruce, blur is a classic rock journo's wet dream. No one under 40, average age of that lot has got to be over 50. Like a mojo magazine collective orgasm.

Gucci Piggy
And for about the thousandth time, AC/DC have now said they'd be more open to playing festivals and would lower their demands.
Mardy
Foos i can see, yeah. Not so sure about acdc. One of the two rather than both, i think it risks being a bit skewed if its those 2 plus muse.
Matt42
And for about the thousandth time, AC/DC have now said they'd be more open to playing festivals and would lower their demands. Yup, people will still be claiming the download situation even when they are announced though. I want Download to hurry up and announce, if they aren't doing download then i'd say that they are probably doing Glastonbury.

Gucci Piggy
At the moment I'd say I expect Foos the most, and then Florence.
Ipayne
Yeah, I'd personally be very happy with ACDC, Foo's and Muse but I feel it would be a bit too heavy as a trio for Glastonbury that it might get quite a bad rap from a lot of those attending Glastonbury.
