AC/DC, Muse and Foos would be fantastic for me but it won't be those three. Three stadium bands has got to be a lot to get.

AC/DC & Foos being quite heavy booking for glastonbury makes me think that a pop act could be the third headliner. If Taylor is around in June I could really see it.

i think Taylor would be more likely to sub TITP than headline Glastonbury. i just don't see it

I don't think it's a question of whether Taylor wants to do Glastonbury, it's whether Emily and Michael want Taylor to play the festival and I just can't see it to be honest.

But her country roots make her practically a farmer, I'm sure she's done some charity work, she's the perfect fit!

I just refuse to believe an artist I couldn't name a song by (Taylor Swift, until I've seen Shake It Off mentioned in this thread) could headline. I'm 24 and got a pretty good musical knowledge so it's not a case of me being out of touch, it's just that she's not got that wide-ranging an appeal.

"Hey guys look at me I don't listen to the radio and haven't turned on a music television channel in over 8 years. They can't headline."

Whilst that might be a bit true (listen to the radio lots, but not stations likely to play her), the point still stands. If someone is big enough to headline the Pyramid you will have come across some of their music elsewhere.

Not if they're not relevant to the demographic. With the people who would buy Taylor Swift tickets, acts like Ed Sheeran would've easily headlined over any of last year's headliners.

Brilliant point well made and puts the Taylor Swift rumour to bed. We can now move on.

Can't use the demographic argument either, Metallica aren't Glastonbury's demographic but they headlined.

i'd be amazed if her biggest hits were played to you and you didnt recognise any of them

I'd never heard a Jay-Z song before he headlined. And to be fair Swift's new album is going to be huge, so I imagine by the time the announcement comes round plenty of people will have heard her music somewhere, if they haven't already.

I think she could headline at a push. I don't think she'd be the fest's first choice though.

Nah. Can't imagine more than about 10% of the population have ever heard an Arcade Fire song tbh
