Pit stop on the way from Pembroke

Hi guys,

Myself and my mates will be making our way from ferry in Pembroke by the M4/M49/M5 in order to avoid Bristol morning traffic. Just wondering if anyone knows a decent spot on the way for a booze and food pitstop that doesn't require too much of a de-tour?

You could come off the M4 and use the M48 instead and then pop into Chepstow - Fairly large Tesco there with a coffee shop I think.

Then you just cross the old bridge instead and head down the M5 that way.
