Hyphenated
I'm planning on bringing some granola for breakfast this year but I realised I have no idea how the milk trucks operate. What time do they usually come around in the morning? I feel as though it was quite early but I wasn't really paying attention. Do they stop in certain locations or can I just flag one down? Cheers! JGP
does UHT last long in the warmth once the carton has been opened? Might just buy some from the supermarket stalls and save myself the hassle. Edited June 20, 2014 by JGP
Sawdusty surfer
Milk tractor goes up the drag from Yeoman's Bridge into the Greenfields at 9 to 9.30 am daily. If we miss it we buy milk from the milk stall (doesn't sell much else) which is just north of Yeomans Bridge on the right. A quid a carton. Hyphenated
Very helpful, thanks everyone! I like the idea of bringing a bit of UHT milk, just in case.
outlinereality
I must be in the right place at the right time, think I've seen it every morning I've been going! Pint of milk for breakfast, might be my most enjoyable pint... But don't tell anyone.
payneruk
We see it everyday. That's probably because we camp right by the path/road. And you can hear them calling out "Milk". If not there's a few milk stalls dotted around.

matt2007
It does always go through the family camping fields around breakfast time, you can also buy milk from the cafe in the kidz field
Hyphenated
Brilliant, sounds like there are plenty of options for us milk lovers! You're definitely meant to refrigerate UHT milk after opening. I did some searching and noticed that most of supermarkets seem to sell the long-life milk in roughly 500 ml packages, which could be a good option depending on how much you need each day. Magic Bus
There's usually a tractor/milk trailer parked up on the road between Kidney Mead and Big Ground mid morning.
frostypaw
Can't go, without fail, without a cold pint in the morning on every day of every Glasto I've been to - number 14 this year.
