Do I need a campingaz stove?

If you have to buy the stove, kettle etc then definitely not. If you already have the kit then maybe - though you probably aren't looking at much of a saving bringing your own, especially if you need fresh milk to go with it.

I'd say yes - if you're a proper tea person you're going to want it done properly not some hot ish water slopped in a paper cup with the cheapest catering bag

Strongly recommend a visit to the Tiny Tea Tent opposite the Greenpeace field, lovely spot for a pause for a tea lover

If you're willing to lug it, it's great. Lovely to wake up, maybe still a bit damp and cold outside, and get a brew on without leaving your tent.

Milk can be an issue without a coolbox, I use individual UHT carton milk - my Tesco has some but you can buy online. Wouldn't dream of using it at home, but doesn't seem so gross in a field.

I also take Chinese-supermarket pot noodles. Good quality meat/prawn filled ones. Light to carry but a full, delicious meal if you have some boiling water. Even if you're wanting to "eat out" and try the various food stalls just tent-cooking a few times can save a bunch of fivers or tenners.
