EE chargers bought from the store

So I saw that Glastonbury and EE had the idea to let you buy a charger and when it runs out just swap it over with another one brilliant! Went to my local EE store bought what I thorough was a charger that I could use the guy in the shop said yes lots of people are buying them so went ahead. Now I have spoken to my friend who has ordered one online and the one he has is a slightly different aqua blue and it says they will only swap these ones over at the festival it is now too late to get one as they have sold out has anyone else done the same thing? Anyone spoken to EE?

have you tried to take it back to the store get a refund?

you could use your friends charger once the phone is charged, take it to EE and get fully charged one to charge your phone?
