1) Goldfrapp ( amazing set of all the hits, thought she was just going to do " tales of us" but was happily wrong, stunning voice.

1) St Vincent ( talented, mesmorising, sexy, amazing and raw, loved it :) )

I can't separate these two, just fantastic!

3) Courtney Barnett in the Park

4) Amilaina Torrini ( just love her passion, and the Birds was one of my festival moments)

5) Sophie Eillis Bexter ( surprisingly good!)

Special mentions to Massive attack ( just to big a crowd and none of protection, but would have been top five otherwise), the Mariaches.. very funny and great entertainment,

1. Arcade Fire - definitely the highlight, brilliant performance, stage set. just a quality well thought out show.

2. St Vincent - totally blew me away. Great stage presence and energy. Think she'll be even better in the dark with the light show.

3. Metallica - one of the tightest bands arounds and didn't disappoint, Pyramid stage maybe restricted the show a bit but they sounded great. wished they could have played longer.

4. Rodrigo Y Gabriella - two of the best guitar players around and just great to watch. Think it would be better seeing them on a smaller more intimate stage.

5. Dolly Parton - didn't get a good spot. Though some of the show a little dated she was good fun and a happy environment all round.

Also liked Cate Le Bon and Massive Attack.

Massive Attack did kind of end abruptly though and light show a bit repetitive but have many great songs.

Jack White performed well but there well big issues with the crowd (lots of idiots) and think he lost the crowd a bit half way through and there were sound issues with it being a bit quiet and couldn't hear his great guitar playing very well.

Arcade Fire - long time fan, thought they nailed it. Special, emotional set.

St. Vincent - stunning. What a performer!

Metallica - Great set. Felt like a real moment. Intro video was great.

Metronomy (Williams Green) - brilliant atmosphere. I thought I only knew about 2 songs but recognised pretty much all of them.

Young Fathers - great, unique performers.

Special mentions to Public Service Broadcasting, Courtney Barnett (Park) and Massive Attack

1. Metallica (no question)

2. Massive Attack (close 2nd)

3. St Vincent (unreal setting @ the Park stage)

4. Robert Plant (needs to be knighted)

5. Richie Hawtin (dope)

agreed on the Jack White consensus - totally sloppy performance by his standards... no interactions with the crowd... he cracked under the pressure from being sandwiched between 2 legends. I'm still a huge fan of his, but he definitely didn't step up!

-Kasabian (great performance + atmosphere)

-CHVRCHES (on the barrier!)

-White Lies (sun! + they were loving it)

-HAIM (fun & great vibe)

-Warpaint (Greenpeace stage barrier - never seen a big band that close before!)

Special mentions to Lana Del Rey, and Jon Hopkins/Mogwai for a great alternative Saturday night. Also enjoyed Wild Beasts, The Subways, Royal Blood, Blondie, Rodrigo y Gabriella (everyone basically).

Biggest disappointment was heart-breakingly Arcade Fire due to ridiculously loud bass where I was stood, and being sandwiched in at the front when in hindsight I should have gone a little further back. Gutted.

Dolly (went along for a laugh and loved it)

The Beat (great long set and enjoyed some of their newer stuff as well)

Melbourne Ska Orchestra

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott

Four Poofs and a Piano (filth in the middle of the day)

Probably saw the least number of music acts in my 10 years but loved every second

1= Goldfrapp (pleasantly surprised they stuck to the older stuff, great venue for them as well)

1= Metallica ( ooohhh that made my gizzards rumble)

3. Public Service Broadcasting (always wanted to see them but never managed it, great fun, great front man, great music)

4. Jagwar Ma (peeing it down at the Park, but they were still as good as I remember from last year)

5. thunderbirds - great stuff and hey really seemed to be having a great time, great musicians all if them. What a laugh

6. Drenge - JP, pretty mental gig, great fun

7. White lies - wasnt sure what they were going to be like, always loved their music but thought it might be a bit depressing. Hell no, they really nailed it!

I didn't see a single band that was shite all weekend to be honest which was a first for me, they all seemed really up for it

1. METALLICA (So sooooooo good. Well and truly lived up to the billing).

2. ARCADE FIRE (Fave band and they were as brilliant as ever, although I thought that their Reading 2010 headline set was a tad better).

3. JACK WHITE (Fantastic. Marked out a wee bit when he did 'Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground').

4. JUNGLE (A real surprise. Me and my friends were uber hungover from Shangri La from the night before and wandered over to the John Peel. First band of the weekend, and one of the best. Looking forward to their album coming out on Monday).

5. ROYAL BLOOD (Never been so excited over a new guitar band such as these guys. Just phenomenal).

This was my first Glasto too, and I bloody loved it. Roll on 2015!
