1. Ed Sheeran - I'm a big fan, he was great, the setlist was great, and the crowd were great

2. Kasabian - I'm not their biggest fan, but it was amazing down at the front

3. Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin - The best random artist I saw all weekend

4. Warpaint - I'm a big fan, and they were great, though the crowd were rather stagnant. I'm gutted I totally forgot they were suppose to have a secret set somewhere else too though!

5. The Smyths - I missed the start but it was otherwise superb!

1. Metallica - Easy one for me, outstanding performance, one of the greatest acts I've seen at a festival.

2. Anti-Flag - Insane, small crowd, great band, Billy Bragg came onto cover The Clash with them and the drummer set up in the crowd, brilliant.

3. Arcade Fire - Wanted to see them for ages and they didn't disappoint

4. Royal Blood - Standing pretty far back but they still looked fantastic from where I was, can't wait to hear their new album.

5. Jack White - Off his face but loved every second of it, gutted he didn't play more off Blunderbuss but impressed me nonetheless.

1. Dolly Parton - got a great spot and one of the happiest vibes ive ever experienced, lovely songs, lovely voice, lovely woman

2. Massive Attack - boom! may not have played all the hits but the sound was amazing all the way through

3. Caro Emerald - chilled jazzy tunes from a top band with a gorgeous singer who sings like a dream. Liquid Lunch indeed!

4. Pixies - i seemed to get a great sound spot for these and i've wanted to watch them forever, didn't let me down

5. The Egg - in the rabbit hole, brought me right up at the end of the festival. How do i always manage to run into these every single time at Glastonbury when just wandering up to a random stage not knowing where i am??

1. Royal Blood, John Peel, Saturday. No question.

2. Metallica, Pyramid, Saturday. As good now as last time i saw them 15 years ago, but made better by the setting.

3. Robert Plant, Pyramid, Saturday. Just a legend who's still got it.

4. White Lies, Other stage, Sunday. Great performance.

5. Nick Mulvey , Crow's Nest, Sunday. Great intimate venue, terrific songs.

Honourable mentions:

The War on Drugs, a great start to the weekend.

Vintage Trouble. Probably would have challenged Royal Blood for performance of the festival if that storm hadn't fucked it up for them.

Disappointments:

Blondie. Poor sound, and uncomfortably overcrowded.

Fat White Family. Just fucking awful.

have to give it a thought for my top 5, as I saw a lot of very very good sets, none in the Portishead, Stones, Nick Cave class of last year, but still...far more than 5 extremely memorable sets. surprised not many more have mentioned Courtney Barnett up at the Park on Friday which blew me away completely

I was slightly disappointed with The Black Keys. Still enjoyed them but they just don't have the same energy as 5 years ago.

1. Jagwar Ma (WG)

2. Pixies

3. Addictive TV (Hell)

4. Shaolin Afronauts (Glade)

5. Metallica (to my great surprise)

Honourable mentions: Showhawk Duo, Fat White Family, Disclosure, Royal Blood (saw them on the NME Awards tour so knew what to expect!), Percy. Also, a first for me really enjoying that sort of thing, the Hospitality takeover on Arcadia Sunday night.

I must say...I am a massive White Lies fan but I'm surprised by the praise they've got here. Everytime I see them they look nervous and their songs sound incredibly flat compared with the studio versions. I watched the BBC footage and thought exactly the same. McVeigh's voice doesn't seem half as powerful to me and the guitars always seem to lack the spark they have on the albums.

I've put mine in order, but other then Arcade Fire being a definite number one, the other 4 could have been put any way around.

1. Arcade Fire (Friday - Main Stage) - Third time I've seen them in a month. It wasn't as good as Reading 2010, but I had more fun this time as I was more drunk and with better people. I had it in my head that Jarvis Cocker would come on for Common People and when they did that little mash up I had rushed off the the toilets with my girlfriend. We heard the start from afar and thought it was happening, only to be very disappointed when it was just the bobbleheads. I don't think we got over that for days.

2. Massive Attack (Sunday - Other Stage) - Spent the Sunday evening just wondering around Glastonbury, taking in the sights and had planned to have an early night as we were all tired. Stumbled past Massive Attack on my way back and loved the sound of it. Saw most of the set and it was a wonderful end to my first Glastonbury.

3. Rodrigo Y Gabriela (Friday - Main Stage) - The War On Drugs into Rodrigo Y Gabriela was a fabulous start to the weekend. I was mesmerised by their guitar skills. Would love to see them play a live venue.

4. Rubble Bucket (Saturday - Avalon Cafe) - The Avalon Cafe was quite possibly my favourite place at Glastonbury. Load of great music coupled with loads of great veggie food. And a place to sit down and eat it. Stumpled upon Rubble Bucket while indulging in some grub and they had so much energy and enthusiam it was hard not to love them. Reminded me a little of the likes of Jungle and Rudimental. They also were Arcade Fire's Bobbleheads that disappointed me so much the previous night with Common People.

5. Wolf Alice (Saturday - John Peel) - Loved this band ever since I saw them support Tribes at the Roundhouse. I had no idea who they were back then, and so this time my expectations were much higher. They have some wonderful songs and some very average songs. Hopefully their debut album can capture more of the great than good.

Also special mentions to The Smyths (Did anyone else see them?!) and The Preatures (Isabella Manfredi is an amazing frontwoman) who were wonderful kick starters to the day on Sunday in the early slots. The English National Ballet also looked like a wonderful experience as we walked past/through.
