Getting your wristband off?

Does anybody out there have a trick of getting this wristband off while keeping it intact?

Try this technique or something similar:

You can use a good old carrier bag, put you hand inside it, feed the handles under and round your wristband, then have a friend gently pullthe handles, bag and band off you hand.

Works surprisingly well

We use a flathead screwdriver under where they stamp the metal on both sides. The metal bit can then be slid up and down the band
