I regret not going to the circus tent at any point and going to Arcadia then bed on Sunday night instead of heading to the cabaret tent. Oh, and not sticking around to watch melt yourself down in the Crow's Nest.

I also regret not making more effort to meet up with my daughter-in-law to watch Dolly. I thought the weekend would be a bit of a 'getting to know each other' thing, but we actually hardly spent any time together.

Overall, I had a pretty good one.

Not waiting longer for Parquet Courts to appear. I waited at the barrier with a few brave souls during the downpour, but there was no communication from any of the crew. When they switched out the equipment, I assumed that the organisers had cancelled PC's gig due to the weather and that they were setting up for the next act. I eventually left at around 10 to 7. Have been quite annoyed at myself since I got back and discovered they had played after all.

i regret the memory loss at night from boozing too hard. having said that, i did stay awake until 5am each night apart from sunday when i went to bed at 11pm - not bad going to be honest.

i regret not wandering around the cabaret/circus areas more all weekend.

i regret not seeing a lot of bands that i'd loved to have seen.

but i had a lot of fun.

Biggest regrets are probably not making the most of Arcadia and Shangri-La.

It was mine and my girlfriend's first Glastonbury, on the Saturday night we pushed through the Arcadia crowd that we wanted to be in so that we could see Disclosure's DJ set in order to see our friends who were at the top of the Park. Only to have them tell us they wanted to head back to the campsite.

It wasn't all bad though, we ended up wandering around the site for several hours and managed to find the secret bar near the stone circle. I was told by a couple of lovely people outside that this was a very impressive feat for our first Glastonbury!

My first thought was not seeing Shangri La this year but on reflection the times I did make it to that corner I was so exhausted all I wanted to do was go back to the tent and sleep (through too much walking or overdoing certain things earlier in the day/night)

Not many regrets, we'd made a few plans that we didn't keep to but ultimately things turned out much better (Sasha at the Glade on Thursday blew me away when we were meant to go to the London Underground in Block 9 for example or going to see Arcade Fire at the last minute and it turning out to be a genuinely brilliant set that moved me)

What was it about the bass that you had a problem. I also regret the position I was in for Arcade Fire and the resulting bass sound, but probably not for the reason you mean.

I was at the front, about 5 rows back, and the bass sound was far too loud. Especially on The Suburbs, where the quiet bits were ruined by the thunderous bass. When I made my way up to the top of the field to meet people, the mix on Wake Up was fine, if a little quiet up there.

Where were you, and what was the mix like?

So many regrets, wish I hadn't been so tired and waited to get into the Piano Bar, gone to the Crows Nest.

Looking at other peoples pictures and reading about their experiences and feel like I went to a completely different festival. Saw too few bands and also smoked some stuff and had a whitey on the Thursday night which meant Friday was a struggle.

On the other hand it was my first time to Glasto so it took a lot of time to get my bearings. I would also camp in a different spot. We were rght beside the Pyramid which is all well and good but had no interest in most of the acts on there and had to do the massive trek past Other which was a complete ballache.

But shure its all a learning curve and will put it down to experience.

One last one is that I didn't just go for a couple of hours mooch by myself to just randomly find stuff.

Smoking something I shouldn't have on Wednesday evening; left me in a mess and having never experienced the reaction before I was so paranoid about what happened I drank only water/tea/coffee from then until Friday lunchtime!

Unfortunately my boyfriend was a miserable arsehole most of the week so I don't feel like I got the most out of the festival at all. The only time I really enjoyed myself was on Saturday when I went to Skinny Lister and Paul Heaton/Jaqui Abbott without him.

To be honest I'd love to go back and do it all again because it really wasn't the Glastonbury I know and love :(

Ah well, I have some happy memories from it, I'll hold on to those tightly and next year (hopefully) I'll make sure it will be the best yet.

As like the OP, I felt a little like I hadn't completely left the outside behind. However all was good until Friday afternoon. I was loving Jurassic 5 playing an awesome set when the guy next to me offered a toke on his spliff, which I gladly accepted.

Unfortunately it was a Jeffery. After 20 minutes, I couldn't stand and ended up crashed out at the side. My missus had also taken a couple of drags and headed back to the tent. Unfortunately that put an end to the day already. Won't be accepting tokes off strangers in future. :(

Why not use the path across top of pyramid and down through kidney mead? That's an awesome area to camp - complete with a pint of hot and spicy plus brandy later on. Gotta laugh if you miss things

A lot of it is about attitude best shown by those who fall in the mud - some laugh and run to hug someone... Sounds like you had an unusual first one and possibly got to see lots folk wouldn't normally for ages - gotta be something to relish in that

Only regret is the damn thing's not long enough.

First trip back in 5 years and while largely the same, there was loads of different bits on the site i wanted to explore more, particularly the SE corner. Went on Thursday night before they had implemented the one way system - I now understand 100% why its needed, the crush trying to leave on the railway track was dangerous. Didn't end up making it back up there which was a shame for me - but i was totally occupied doing other completely brilliant things!

Unfortunately it's unlikely i will be back next year, but cannot bloody wait for 2016 - they just need to make it 7 days so i can do everything i want!

Not putting my gaiters on for the biblical friday storm :P

Camping on the Pyramid side of the Railway track, lovely guys and gals I camped with they were but ...in the end with the mud and the trek up the hill. I didn't hang about as much in the parts of the festival I love. Might be down to my own fitness to

Which brings me to my 3rd regret, far to much band chasing around the main stages for me this year. Dunno how the hell i managed to do that, as I prefered last years line up ..but I think with the mud/camp location I spent to muich time Friday and Saturday around the main areas going from band to band which sucked.

Being to tried most nights for a proper late night party :P
