Anyone try that all Thai place left of the beat hotel I think over a bridge. It was £7 and you got a starter (chicken/pork skewer) and then it was a self service buffet for the main so you just built your plate as high as possible to get a proper feast. The food was pretty average but since it was self service you could get so much

Did anyone else try food from the grilled cheese van (converted from an ice cream van) in the market area? I wish I'd tried it sooner - on the last day I had a goat's cheese, honey and walnut toasted sandwich and it's one of the nicest things I've ever tasted!

Did anyone have a frankfurter from Piggie Smalls? I had the Amy Swinehouse and it was delicious! Frankfurter, pulled pork, crispy onions, Jim Beam BBQ sauce and chilli jam. Loved the Thali and samosas from Ghandi's Flip Flop too. Is there anywhere that does decent noodles? Went to a Philippine noodle place and it was awful. The chicken looked grey!

My winner was the rachlette swiss cheese stall near the cider bus. A spicey hot dog smothered in melted swiss cheese, they also did a lovely beautiful potato and sausage casserole covered in cheese. Beautiful!

An honorable mention must also goes out to the north African place also near the cider bus that did a filo pastry parcel with spicy lamb, goats cheese and red onion. Also Grillstock near the Greenpeace area that did a banging pulled pork bap.

You'd like to think not, if they call themselves The Ethical Chef! Beginning to realise just how much great food I missed out on. Fingers crossed for a dry festival next year as I think that makes a huge difference to how much you are willing to wander around to find your food.

Was in the Greenpeace field late one night when Liam (I think that was his name?) came over and offered half price on their veggie chili. Wife and I decided to try it and shared a portion. Can't go wrong for £3.50. Then as soon as we'd finished it off we ordered a second. Absolutely delicilous! If I could make a veggie chili like that I'd be tempted to give up meat. How on earth did they get that depth of flavour with a meat tasting stock without using meat?

One place I avoided was a wood fired pizza place next to the Kasbah. Really wanted a pizza at the time, but saw what people ended up with and it looked like a Tesco frozen pizza reheated. Perfectly round, and not much in the way of toppings either. Why on earth would someone cook frozen pizzas when they'd gone to the trouble of having a wood fired oven?

Did find a very decent wood fired pizza in a place called The Pizza Parlour, just down from Pieminister between Pyramid and Other stages. Had their supreme pizza and went back for another the next day. Excellent and they ran that operation like a well-oiled machine. Cooked to order but whatever the queue it only took a few minutes.

There was a "Home made" burger place near the other stage (next to the Ostrich burger stall). They had a nice looking stall and sign, so I thought I'd get one, but upon nearing the counter I could see that the burgers looked like any old shitty burger that you'd get from a van next to the Pyramid stage. I decided to go somewhere else in the end.

Best thing I ate all weekend was of course the Jerk chicken and the spit roast chicken at Williams Green. I like the Goon fish curry in west Holts but wasn't worth the hype IMO.
