  • A Guy Called Matt

    5033

I've been invited to an evening with Brian Blessed next year. Sadly not in a pub or round his house though.

He is true to his screen personna but such a kind and funny man.

Am I the only person who find Brian Blessed a bit creepy? And incredibly annoying?

He is VERY loud true but he has a heart of gold - honestly. and a very wicked sense of humour.

Evening all. I'll take that hug Matt, it's been a rough fortnight. Any good parts I've missed? Maybe we could have a summary each 3 pages like the end of every Poirot?

Brian Blessed COMES FROM DONCASTER. (Spoken in the stylee of BB)

I've never thought of him as creepy, but I think spending more than about half an hour in his company could get a bit tiring. A friend of mine, who's also an actor, spent an evening chatting to him, among others and told me that the 'screen persona' he has is just him. He's apparently not putting it on. Don't think I could take it for long!

I will take the big hug as well Matty.

Having a tough time.

Sending you a virtual hug slodge.

Having a bit of a shit time too this end. I have recognised the onset of depression. Fortunately my wife has recognised this too and is now attempting to steer me clear of it. I'm happier now that we've talked about it. I'm not alone now, as compared to all the other times I've experienced depression. Anyway, I'm going to stay in a happy mood while on efests this evening. :)

Bloody hell! I come here to say hello and I get testicles!!!! Haha!!

HI! I love Brian Blessed. Love the GORDON'S ALIVE clip! Great film!

So the opera last night was great, I've seen Carmen at least 3 times and that was by far the best. It was fabulous. Next on the list is Madam Butterfly at the Albert Hall (SO exciting!) then the Magic Flute next March. I love the theatre!!!

Genie, go! Go once, get cheap seats to see if you like it. I can recommend good ones if you like!! :)

We went to Aida last year in Manchester and cheap seats in La Scala for the ballet of Romeo and Juliet. Would love to see Carmen. We should go to our local theatre a lot more, it's just a case of fitting it in!

Aida is amazing!!! My first Royal Albert Hall opera. It was quite something.

I bet La Scala was fantastic!

I know what you mean about fitting things in, I think that's part of the reason I book so far in advance!
