Hello guy. You've probably created a pattern that crop circle followers are scratching their heads over right now!

Oki doki - Larmer Tree review and thanks to weather gods time.

Weather gods - thank you loads.... OK so we had a light show that was amazing (especially as you can see for 30/40 miles in each direction!!). We got from A to B in between slightly wet events and the worst came while we slept. Got abit damp but nothing too bad.

Right here goes - and any questions ask cos I will forget loads!!

Toilets - clean and pleasant to use even by Sunday evening!

Seating - more than enough apart from Weds night (for Tom Jones) as they sell day tickets and the place was packed - all other times it was fine.

Entertainment - loads going on, free workshops galore, small tents with random music. Main stages really well organised, very little overlapped and the longest walk was 15 minutes at a slow festival speed via toilet and bar!!

General feel - really calm and friendly bar the odd one or two which, oddly enough, were all day ticket people!! Plenty of adult only areas, plenty for kids and we even sat in an area full of kids and didn't mind at all.

Lovely sitting in the woods for an escape from the sun.

A photographer said they had the mix just right, he said that Blissfields was too much for the kids and it felt odd being just adults there.

Choice of food - plenty.

Bars - 5 I think but rarely any queues apart from main stage bar and even then 2/3 minutes tops. Loads of choice too.

Officially you cannot take alcohol out of camping fields but many did as long as it was in plastics and not in bags as they were searching those. We had a bottle of whiskey with us and hip flask no problem.

Music etc carried on til 4am every night apart from Weds when it finished at 2am I think.

People - strange amounts of 'well to do folk' with chairs and picnic blankets - most on day tickets but all harmless and with smiles. You could almost descibe it as 'middle class' if there was such a thing!!

Really enjoyed it - and discovered lots of new bands etc and did Digeredoo and drumming and other stuff. Even fell asleep in middle of walkway cos I was so tired!!!

Illegal stuff - none that I noticed in main site but the campsite was probably different!!

The good old trying to get home pissed Magical Mystery Tour is very special indeed. To the man on the Clapham omnibus it would look like the lunatics had indeed broken out of the asylum when viewing some of these attempts by others to get home whilst having had a few taken on board. As for those attempting to get home - they are perfectly oblivious to the existence of things like time and motion studies.

Hello! It's a lovely day here! I was going to walk to work but I was a bit late... maybe tomorrow!

Might go for en evening stroll by the river tonight though. Very pleasant.

We must keep up the praise to the weather gods for showing us what they are capable of :)

Obviously won't need em next June, but bought 5 ponchos for the family and future outdoor events, following on from the Hyde Park washout. Subtle ex Swiss Army number.
