A Guy Called Matt
Utterly amazing experience today - normally you never see male boar fighting as they do it in very dense woodland. I have often heard it close by and seen the odd bit of movement but today - right in front of us out in the 'open'. At one point their fight was coming right towards the bush I was hidden within and they got about 15 foot away!!!! A stunning amazing wildlife encounter. A Guy Called Matt
Get any good shots? Yes but no - I was that excited I forgot to change from AV (light was really poor) to P so the first batch are all very movement blurred. Got a couple of OK ones though - remembering I am very fussy. I was also being mindful of the fact Mrs Mattyc was with me under a tree just behind me so had to make sure she was OK to! Check my FB page later once I have sorted them all. Curlygirl
Hey peeps. Hope everyone has had a happy Sunday. I spent most of it with my grandad, which was lovely, but as I do every time, I cried my little heart out when I got home. We lost nana in September and for all I try, I can't fix him. His grief is so raw it hurts me. Thurlow I hope your dad is still 'no worse' and you get good news at the specialist tomorrow. On a brighter note, I have a very clever dog who wrote me a Valentine's card all by himself... in joined up writing! Made me smile.

Rewarded ourselves with a curry. Lovely! Big hugs to everyone today, I'm no good at offering advice but hugs I can do. Hope all who are sad feel better soon. I often speak to my God children on The phone and we do hugs. They put left hand on right shoulder and right hand on left shoulder ans squeeeeze imagining me hugging them. Works a treat!
