I had some tenderhooks once but that is another story!!!!!

Glad Woffy is 'ok'.................... still got positive vibes for him and everyone else.

Mum is better than she was - lst night she wanted sticky toffee pudding and ate more or less all of it!!

Sun is out, sky is blue and a lot cooler at night so sleep is at last easier!

Thoughts with all who need it for whatever reason. July has been an odd month - August will rock.

Dam looks like a w** weekend and we are going away. Wish this weather patten would adjust so we can have a dry weekend.

Only one thing for it sun dance time.(neighbours be afraid very afraid).

Depends where you are heading as to what you will get as the gods need to dampen certain areas!!

Where are you going to if I might ask?

ok

so it was sharons bday so like most blokes who dont want to be shouted at i took her to one of our fav places winspit in the purbecks https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=winspit+view&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=cwTYU63pD7GI7AbKq4DQDQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg&biw=1024&bih=509#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=EP1ntaXN8m0h6M%253A%3BOa_kwFlWtokzsM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252F2.bp.blogspot.com%252F-EWY3pQWSb5U%252FTWFoxcc5KeI%252FAAAAAAAAB_I%252FzAEMvGu8Q-4%252Fs1600%252FWinspit%25252Band%25252BWorth%25252BMatravers%25252B20-2-11%25252B008.JPG%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fsnowgoosey.blogspot.com%252F2011%252F02%252Fworth-matravers-and-winspit.html%3B1600%3B1200

any way we went there with some friends and drank the night away NOT too much mind when in the morning we got bbq going and cracked open a can o cider [ i think it was cider could o be been lager ] and whilst awaiting for the chicken wings [ i do know they were chicken wings ] i wandered over to the edge of the cliff like id dont 100s of times .

well

then i fell off.

now it all happened in a second [and no i didnt see my life flash past my eyes ] and i apparently hit a bit of rock that through me further out where i landed in the sea 50 odd feet down .....where i feel off is where the people are standing https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=winspit+view&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=cwTYU63pD7GI7AbKq4DQDQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg&biw=1024&bih=509#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=6FUL0IqbNXFdbM%253A%3BGuv_WyktzMcBWM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.southampton.ac.uk%252F~imw%252Fjpg-Winspit%252F10WNS-Ledge-Edge-Winspit.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.southampton.ac.uk%252F~imw%252FWinspit-Seacombe.htm%3B1400%3B1121

so i was in the drink for about 15/20 mins and was about to give in when some bloke [ a free climber who was there ] got a rope around me and i was dragged up the cliff where a helicopter had landed [ blowing all our chicken wings away ] ....i dont recall all that much but i had a cupa tea and told the helicopter that i was fine but had to sign something cos they said it was adrenalin but as i wouldnt go with them [ cos it was sharons bday ......i know i know..] anyway to cut a very long story shorter i went to the pub got pissed went to hospital next day cos i couldnt stand properly they xrayed me said i was fine sent me home ........

a week later whilst my wife was at the docs my doc asked if i was ok and sharon told her that apart from being lucky to be alive and not to have broken any bone i was in a lot of pain but ok ..........half hour later the hospital phones im rushed in and spend a few days in then 6 months a cast thing [ that i still for some reason have ] and here i am now we think i was in luck cos the tide was JUST coming in .in first pic you can see its low tide

hi,guys wife here cos he's useless at finding stuff on the net,

this was the newspaper article about guys fall,..........................

http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/1758944.Man_walks_away_unscathed_after_50ft_cliff_fall/

adrenalin is a wonderful thing, he was hauled up the cliff and although shaken and in pain seemed ok, not the case later though,

his biggest moan at the time was the fact his gortex boots had let his feet get wet, lol.

he may now be forever a bit broken But at least he's still here. :-)

Best thing about this story is the anonymity! Brilliant!
