Well, what a night!

My kids' High School have an Eisteddfod every year, with the three houses competing in Dance, drama, vocal, instrumental, choir and (oddly!) basketball!

And tonight was the Music and Drama night. A LONG night (7-11.30pm) but brilliant...not least of all because Plymouth House won the overall, and this year's Plymouth House Captain is....my Child 1!!! Child 3 played trumpet and piano (not at the same time, you understand) in the Plymouth House band that accompanied the choir. Child 2's house came last...but she's pretty philosophical about it!

So, Child 1 is now off out for a ruby with all of the house leaders, a very happy boy.

Mum coming over tomorrow as we're mega busy on Sunday. She's bringing a Labradoodle so my Wheaten will go mental with excitement!

Night all. I'm off to bed as a proud Daddy.
