What book are you currently reading (if of course you read books)?

I'm on with the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth. Ripping post-apocalyptic yarn.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. My boss thrust it upon me and said he thought it was jolly good although not his usual read.

He was right - it has an odd style but I'm into it now. Want to read Girl on the Train next but waiting for the price to drop.

Also got Dalai Lama's book of Wisdom on the go.

I downvoted because I chose too as I found the idea of people wanting to work out how long it will be before such and such a number of pages is reached a bit odd, like it's the only reason for posts, to get a high page count. And so showed that with the good old downvote button. A button we are all free to use to express a 'mark' on a post. I upvote too so it's not like I am a sociopath on a downvoting mission!

Hello sime. Thank you for reminding me that we are all different. Personally I can't recall down voting anybody, but may have done so in a drunken moment or two - or possibly as a bit of retaliation. I feel that the down vote should be used when really fucked off with something, not in a trivial situation like talk of getting a high page count. However, as you have rightly indicated, this is only one opinion. It would be boring and stiffling if we all thought the same way.
