Dee did you post the Turning Japanese song because it was on tv earlier?

Yes! Found my foot tapping away to lots of that programme whilst I caught up on here. Turning Japanese will always remind me of my friend and me - we were bored and decided to put on a "show" for the younger kids in our house at boarding school - we danced and mimed this song amongst others. I was deeply unhappy there but this one event does make me smile.

I'm sure my mate Barry would laugh at your view of his namee - he's too cool being the main man of the Dub Pistols.

I'm feeling a bit rotten this morning. Stinking cold started last night, streaming this morning, and feel like I've got pillows wrapped round my ears

Still, gumby jr. is off with his nan and grandad in a few hours, so all I've got to do is get him ready and entertain him for a bit, then I can slump all afternoon.

Everyone heard the Isle of Wight announcement? Pretty strong lineup, I reckon. I still wouldn't go, though. Looked into it one year, and it looked like it would cost almost £400 for a ticket and travel!

I went the other year when stone roses headlined as i thought it was reasonably priced at 290 including return coach from manchester. This years headliners look as strong to me

I did lots of foot tapping too!! It was a good programme!

I believe I might be going to see the Dub Pistols in May, another festivally type band I have not managed to see yet!

Morning all, btw

Sunny here today too, it's lovely! I have woods right outside my house and this morning I watched a pair of nuthatches coming and going form a hole in a big tree by my back door, they must be nesting in there. Very exciting! I love watching the birds!

CG- familes can be odd sometimes. Well, people in general can. You think they're all ok then suddenly it all happens at once! Hope it all gets better soon.
