Got my copy of the new Björk vinyl today - with a groovy acetate that goes over the sleeve...pic below is not mine, but stolen off the 'net to show you:

She's always visually interesting.

It's a wonderful record. She's been very upfront about it being a break-up album (a split with her husband, artist Matthew Barney), and that's how it plays. But I think it's her best record since Medùlla.

Any fans of the Icelandic Pixie on here? She's a bit of a contradiction to me...some of her stuff I can take or leave, but when sh'e good, man she's good. I think all chances of her at GF2015 are gone, but I'll hold out hope until it's official.

Debut was a bit of a revelation - bought it on a whim and didn't really play it for ages. When I did I instantly loved it. I do like her stuff but it's quite labour intensive, will need to dedicate some time to her some day. As a woman she's an inspiration.

She was the best act at my first Glasto too...
