Eels - Prizefighter: https://youtu.be/N3sdPM5mfJ4

I'd go for this one from Mr E. I wooed MrsCJ with this and ELO's Mr Blue Sky (do people still woo?) Eels played in 2010 I think, so it would be great if they come along this year.

Glad Bébé Deux Chapeaux is better and interviews are over, good luck thirlow/thurlow! I didn't get my last interview but got feedback for the next time.

If anyone can get my works laptop working too, I'll buy you a cider in June ;-)

Woo - probably not CJ, be nice if they did tho. A young girl in the office told me last week that bondage and strangulation are widely accepted now in "wooing". Scary stuff. I'm so glad I'm nearly 50!

Obviously not to the point of death "playful strangulation". Didn't know there was such a thing!!!

It really is lovely. I might get a dvd for those days when I'm feeling a bit "special".

Am currently looking at wellies, I've got some but they were hand me downs and are not the best fit in the world, also they are only calf high. I like a knee high wellie really. I also want rubber ones, not plastic imitations as they just dont last! Any advice? I have seen Hunters for about £40, are they worth it?

Lucy Loo, I've got Hunters but got mine for the bargain of £25.00. Have had them years now and do a lot of walking cos I use them in the winter a lot for jumping in puddles while walking the doggies.

I find them grand but I'm no welly expert. Previous pair I bought for a tenner somewhere didn't fit so gave them away. No comparison sorry

50 fecking Shades has A LOT to answer for. A Lot. You can't just let someone you've only known five minutes do that sort of thing to you!!!

I won't rant again, I promise!

Ah yes, i thought you had Hunters! Thanks HMV. I think I might get some. I need wide calf fit ones though as I am not skinny in the leg, but I think they do some with the adjustable bit so I should be ok :)

Christ I've been 24 years with my b/f and I wouldn't trust him to "playfully strangle me".... Well not while the life insurance is still in place lol

I know, I know. That author has made a mockery of using a good writing style and taken pulp fiction back 70 years.... ;-)

Sounds defo like a tummy bug, S2H, so still be cautious with the fluids and not lulled into more ambitious feeding by the little minx!

Ben

Yeah, she's been a bit feeble this morning, but reasonably cheerful. Her sick last night was linked to a small amount of milk, since she'd not been sick for at least 12 hours and had kept down some water + crackers in the night, as well as earlier that afternoon. Poor mite had only just recovered from her virus!

What do you think about Calpo/Ibuprofen suspensions? She has a slight temperature, so we've been giving her Calpol, but only 5ml (I.e. not her new 2yr old dose of 7.5) and avoiding the Ibuprofen for now. Good/bad on an empty stomach?

Sorry for banging on about my kid on here everyone else, especially the non-parents, but I've got a FRICKIN' PAEDIATRICIAN on the forum!

Oh yes, thanks. I'm off next week on a staycation with my family, then MrsCJ is taking the girls to the coast the week after. I'm saving my hols for later in the year, so I'll also be able to plough through films, tv, pizza and beer while they're off, heh heh.

what are you up to? Started packing for June?

i'd so Slo is the most common but i'm open to all variations

that sounds like a fantastic way to spend a bank holiday

i've been chocolate and sweets free since the beginning of January in a bid to lose weight on the promise that if i stuck with it this weekend i was going to gorge myself, so i'll be spending my time eating everything in my path for 4 days, might fire up the BBQ if the weather allows it

as for packing, don't tempt me :) i've have got a nice big list on the go but i'm trying to pace myself and only buy a couple of items a month, first stop is the a new tent on April payday
