Always jealous of first timers, although, I've got David Bowie, the FLC, Faithless, Eels, Chic, Massive Attack, Chas n Dave, Shirley Bassey, a transvestite with an inflatable penis, a bloke with a cross, Radiohead, those blokes in the juke box, and a host of other weird and wonderful, where do you stop, things that I can't describe, insect people.....

The tea ladies!

Nicely flipped!!

I vote Thursday tea time, anywhere really! Perhaps somewhere a little less crowded than Avalon this year? It was purely by chance I found you!!

Where Dee said...... Bread and Roses??? Sounds great

and teatime sounds a plan so those who want bands later can wander off.

All subject to the lineup of course - if we get one.

I've been looking for a new rucksack. Mine is 80l +20l daypack. It opens like a suitcase and has straps on the sides and bottom to attach my roll mat, chair and tent. I can't find one that does all! The closest I've got is

But it doesn't have the bottom straps to hold the tent.

One of the straps has come away on mine.

Hey thurl (I can't quote), be easy on yourself about the interview :-) I can empathise as I didn't get an interview recently, hacked me off. Can you get feedback, look at what / how you did and see how you can get better for future times. It is disappointing, but see if you can look forward to matching new posts? If the disappointment links to your current job, can you improve that too, bit by bit. Don't sink down to being a bitter, twisted, cynical, isolated employee with a black cloud over you, it won't help your current role and how you're perceived, or how you're feeling (hey, I had that approach for half a day at work, and it didn't make me popular) Deep breath and try yoga?

Man hugs, mate.

Oh im not flexable enough for yoga

I did get feedback, i gave an excellent interview and scored really well but on one of the questions i didnt go into enough detail about a job i had 8 years ago, and if i had covered that job more she said id of probably got the post....just a very basic error due to overtiredness.

I dont want to be down and angry with myself, but at the moment its just how im feeling. Its already affecting my friendships and that makes me feel worse

I have all sorts of fun adventures coming up over the next week or so and all i want to do is curl up in bed and not get out of it for a month

And i feel as if im coming down with another cold as well.

Its done virtually nothing but rain since i found out i hadnt got the job so even the weather gods are pissed off with me

Even mr blue sky didnt cheers me up today!!!!!

I know!! But I don't take a lot so how come I can't fit it in a small bag. Maybe mine is 60 + 20?

So what do you all take? I take 2 pairs of shorts, 1 trousers. 6 tops, pants and socks. 1hoody. Raincoat. Wellies, shoes. The rest is alcohol and small toiletries. So where am I going wrong? I'll have to write a list and try to wheedle it down.

I take 5/6 tshirts, 6 pairs shorts, grunders, socks, trainers (boots are on my feet) waterproof, hoodie, toiletries. Alcohol comes seperately.

I've got a 60L rucksack, couple of big outside pockets.

I think the problem is I'm allergic to the cold and it does get rather cold at night. I need clothing. It's not the amount of clothes I take, I think it's 'other stuff' that I could probably do without.
