Hi all

Another lovely walk with Dad, Child 3 and Dog this morning, though muddy (are we allowed that word on here...?) as hell!

Quieter afternoon - probs a bit of TV sport...I've worn him out a bit at 72 (Dad, that is, not Orlagh).

Had my first Glastonbury dream last night - I feel quite excited about that as I have never been there. It was super strange - some weird queueing of lines of people waiting to get into 'somewhere', at several doors to a building! Then there was some dance/art piece going on, with multiple people dressed in 'animal' t-shirts - like zebra stripes etc, all running around and sweeping in sync like a herd of animals - it was really cool. Oh, and I was pretty mashed. Can't wait, if it's going to be just like that!

Ben

Ben it is just like that!! You'd think you've been before. I dream of Glasto every night!

Yeti I loved the videos last night. You contributed to my tired state today. Thanx

I so hope so, Cg. I envisage my Glastonbury dreams becoming a regular occurrence. The next couple of months might be two of the longest in my life!

I have to say, I am starting really to get a bit cheesed off with not knowing the line-up. I know that the random nature of the timing adds to the GF mystique and uniqueness. I already feel a bit superior to people going to other festivals this year, including those that I love, because I'm going to the 'special;' one where they don't even need to tell you who's playing as it's that good!

BUT...I spend SO much time researching and listening to the stuff that is announced, especially all the wonderful bands that I find way down the order. Every year I find a handful of bands from the undercard of 'my' festival, that become life long favourites. I knew Courtney Barnett a bit pre-GF announcement, but have grown to LOVE her over the last month or so, and I need to be doing that with other bands. So, I desperately want the line-up, so that the long process of homework can begin.

I really want The Antlers to play, 'cause they're fabbo.

Curry at home tonight, then tomorrow is a Choctastic Easter Day, with rellies over for Child 3's 14th birthday.

you have my sympathies re researching bands. it's not a part of my festival build up usually, but i know a few who like to do that.

Hello! Family lunch was nice, now suitably stuffed. Did a bit of Glastobating with my sister too :)

Been to the shop to get gin for my girls evening tomorrow with a couple of good friends, the plan is gin and cheeses tunes and lots of chats and singing along!

Cg I'm the same with films, I can't remember if I've seen one until it is almost over. In a way it's good as every film is new! Haha!

Re researching bands- I don't usually but instead I ask my glasto friends for recommendations. Last year I discovered Royal Blood through doing that. They were good!

Evening all! I'm hungover, didn't eat and neighbours were around with booze. We had a dance off in the wee hours of the morning. I feel icky.

Trying to sort the house out cos have Keith coming to visit. Will be brilliant to have a good 'ol Glastobate this evening. Not the same talking to people about it who haven't been and no intention of going.

It is actually called Duct tape/Duck tape. Gaffer tape is the same thing but so called because 'the gaffer' ie the boss in film production always carried it to secure wires and lighting rigs as its black and doesn't melt in extreme heat. Duck tape is a brand name. Duct tape is used to repair air conditioning units (ducts).

Don't know why the forces call is Harry black.
