I think the sprouts/cold link is that when you've got a cold, your nose tends to block??

Thanks for the well wishes folks, I am a tad bunged up but am eating my way through it!! Feed a cold, and all that! I'll pop to the gym after work for some very light exercise, then its home for a healthy dinner (possibly homemade soup made with yellow tomatoes from my sisters garden- they are DELICIOUS) and an early night.

Although now I quite fancy pie and mash and veg and gravy. MMMmm pie!! I completely forgot to have a pie again at glastonbury this year!

As for the lovely weather, I'm sorry to report it was a tad on the damp side here this morning, although it seems to have cleared up now. I have put the heater on at work but that is mainly due to my slight cold, not the weather¬

Thanks Jeffie. I've got lots of fresh veg at home so I shall make sure I eat reasonably healthy to help fight it off. Either that or I'll hit the rum!

I'm beginning to crave fruit and veg actually. The typical Argentinian diet seems to be cake for breakfast, meat for lunch, more meat in the evening.

Which is great, but after a month or so I'm starting to want something a bit healthier! This is no place for a vegetarian.

One thing I will take home with me is what they do here to breakfast cereal, they only put yogurt on it! All these years I've been pouring milk on my coco pops when I could have been having this incredibly sweet pink yogurt stuff they use here.
