Wot I saw on the way home today...

 

The AA have found a couple of square feet of verge to put some more signs on. 

 

Red gate seems to have grown lots of rather fetching multicoloured flags, a sure sign that they are in the home straight. There is bunting as well and I kinda assume it is for Ben's arrival, being a film star and all. The brass band will have to stand by the phone mast cabin on the right.  If you have seen the advert for "3" recently with the purple muppet, I imagine it will be on that scale.

 

We appear to have a camper van moved into a pull off at the top of the hill for the last couple of days, bit keen if they are waiting for Tuesday.

 

Mainly though, it is sunny, very dry and breezy, ideal ground prep.

 

Worthy View can probably be seen from space, it is standing out like a racing dogs bollocks.

 

It is all as it should be, lovely and looking ready for all of you folks to come to see us.

I always wonder why people worry about things they can't affect.  We will have weather of some sort.  We will deal with it and the world will keep turning.  The faux despair about pretty coloured pictures is a bit odd when they are speculative at this range, don't take the topography and micro climate into account, and don't matter two shits anyway. I find it better to have a good time rather than getting angsty about wellies and mud.
