Fortunately it was paid to another supplier who is sending it back so HANDS OFF!!!

I feel like a fucking idiot though. Just had to 'fess up to the FD. In another fortunately I think I work for reasonable people who will see it for the human error that it was :(

My car is poorly too! Possible new water pump needed. Really could do without that expense this week! I looked into hire cars, have you git an Enterprise near you? They were quite reasonable I thought. Hope you get something sorted!

Car trouble is horrible!

Hubby's car wouldn't start on Wednesday. Had to get a 200 tow. Yeah, will probably go with Enterprise. It's the second driver insurance that's the killer and it's a long way for one driver...

So some of us have piles.

 

Some have large piles and some small piles.

 

Gumby has had a bugger of a morning (hope it gets better).

 

My mojo is awol but rear end kicks and adreneline will rekindle it quick.

 

My business is manic and I can't get on top of it..... but I must..............

Stupid question, is it just the battery that needs replacing, we had the same problem a few weeks back, new battery and now everything is tickety boo.

Nah, battery is ticking but not firing. Something to do with the heat lamps possibly (it's a diesel). Is in garage, they won't want it hanging around for two weeks...

Thurlow - glad your results were good and you are on the up hopefully in tip top condition for the farm next week

ICG and LucyG  - sorry to hear about your car troubles (I had an unexpected £180 spend on mine last week which didn't help GF finances) hope they are all sorted without too much expense and ICG glad you got your money sorted (oops!)

Matty and Gumby hope your day improves

 

I have had an absolute nightmare week at work, one of my colleagues has handed in their notice resulting in chaos for our team, complete uncertainty about what I am going to be doing for the foreseeable, loads of office politics and meetings with my ultimate boss who is a complete cock-knocker, who I try to speak to as little as humanly possible as every time I do I feel the need to down a bottle of gin he is such an absolute arse. No work has been done for the last 2 days so I will have  to be in at least one full day this weekend to try and catch up so I can leave on Wednesday - but it will all be worth it and one of the best things about GF is that when you are there your every day worries seems to melt away

 

I am sure I missed loads out so to anyone I have forgotten or didn't mention hope you are having a good day and praising the weather gods at every available opportunity.

Am supposed to be taking my boys to Africa Oye festival tomorrow but looks like it is going to be p*ssing down all day so will be making my sacrifice for the weather gods.

May even partake of some nekkid dancing - Mr Dorothy will be happy even if it doesn't please the weather gods

Dorothy, sorry to hear you're having a rubbish time at work, hope it improves. Like you say, once at Glastonbury you'll be fine!! 

 

I've just had a text from the mechanic, I do need a new water pump. EEK. He's going to let me know how much it is when the part arrives. EEK again. Anyone got an idea of how much it might be?!
