Happy Solstice NFR NFC!

 

Wonderful walk on the longest morning of the year with pooch. 

 

Bathrooms cleaned, laundry in progress, ironing pending. Mrs Ben will return to a palace tomorrow!

 

AND...I did my Glastonbury shop! Not as exciting as it sounds, as I really didn't need much. Some new toiletries, baby wipes, Pringles (my tent get out of jail food at stupid o'clock!) and a couple of other things. Gonna get some croissants on Tuesday ready for breakfast on the coach on Wednesday as we'll leave before all open. How bloody exciting!

 

FB phone number list PMd to me by matty, so none of you are safe from my exhausting enthusiasm now!!

 

THREE. MORE. SLEEPS!

 

And only one more shift at work tomorrow (we can't all have a fortnight off either side of the festival, Humver ;) ).

 

I just need to try not to physically explode for 72 hours and I'll be home. For the first ever time. I know you guys are veterans, but this means an enormous amount more to me than some bands and fun in a field. What I mean is that, as much as one can as a brand newbie, I feel that I 'get it'.

 

Can't wait to meet you all...

Just popped Over from the science thread to say thank you for all the hard work you have put in over the past year. The finish line is in sight and upto now the charts are looking positive. This,in part must have something to do with the wizardry, witchcraft and sacrifices made within this thread which I don't fully understand but appreciate anyway.

Stick with it till the bitter end and I wish each and every one of you an amazing festival

Apologies for being AWOL this weekend, I have been in th'Lakes where they still use the telegram and haven't quite caught up with the concept of a mobile telephone yet.

Has been fab. Went for a nine mile hike yesterday, got v wet, a bit sunburnt and utterly midgified. These sacrifices I give willingly to the Weather Gods and it looks like they are repaying exactly as we wished.
