What a day!

 

Mrs Ben will be pleased as I have very much filled it with job after job, chore after chore, just to get through it! You really shouldn't wish your life away, but three days pre-GF is agony!

All available NFR phone numbers now safely in festival phone.

 

The T-shirt selection process has been completed (I am a t-shirt obsessive and festival choices are like international sports trials in my house, each garment vying for those few, lucky places!).

This year, I will only be wearing:

 

- Boards of Canada

- Bowerbirds

- Hammock (American ambient duo)

- Blueneck (small Bristol/Bath post-rock band, and now very good friends - they played Avalon Café last year)

- A Winged Victory For The Sullen (cross they're not playing, as they are playing Latitude, so wearing this to accompany my Erased Tapes tattoo!)

- Morning Runner (anyone remember them? One of my all time favourite t-shirts.

 

Anyone else picked out their specially selected band t-shirts?!

 

(I am prepared for the revelation that no, it is just me...)

Well technically not packed but will always wear one of my Grateful Dead T-shirts sometime during the weekend.

I did my packing this afternoon. I've only got a few musical t-shirts, Gaslight Anthem, Johnny Cash and a Field of Avalon one from 2013. I also have a couple of film-related ones and a couple of hilarious slogan ones (IMO!). Not sure which one I'll wear to the meet yet.

So, in short, it's not just you :)

Just popped Over from the science thread to say thank you for all the hard work you have put in over the past year. The finish line is in sight and upto now the charts are looking positive. This,in part must have something to do with the wizardry, witchcraft and sacrifices made within this thread which I don't fully understand but appreciate anyway.

Stick with it till the bitter end and I wish each and every one of you an amazing festival

Ive bought a few in the early years at gigs but none have survived the few moves ive made and it didnt take long for them not to have ones big enough to fit so i stopped asking

I have t-shirts. They tend to have slogans. Or be old tv programmes. They interest me. Sometimes they interest other people.

Evening all.

Thought I was feeling better earlier so popped into town, had a very scared turn.

The boss has given me very strict instructions to rest and behave on Monday and Tuesday.

Thank you ever so much for all the kind words yesterday, I was not going to post for a few days so I do not bring the tread down. If this happens may I wish everyone a safe and uneventful journey to the festival together with a fantastic time.
