This 100%! I never understand why people do that!

 

There is a add-on to that rule though.

 

I think if you had an original Hyde Park Roling Stones T-shirt for instance (did they even exist?), you would have been allowed to wear that to see them again at Glastonbury.

 

As long as it fits of course lol

Well I'm off to town after work to do my annual pre-fest Poundland shop! Then I have to put the tent up (havent done it yet, so unorganised) and tomorrow I need to pack. I won't be bringing band t shirts, my fave is a 1990 Black Crowes Shake Your Money Maker tee, faded as a bag of faded things but my all time fave t shirt ever. Other than that I only own a few and they are mainly Take That! Haha! 

 

My NFRNFC tee will be coming along though for Thursday :)

Cool, a collective does sound good would we have a leader?

I will also be wearing a dodgy suit for my birthday on the Friday and a ready steady cook apron+Ainsley Harriot mask on the Thursday.

No leader, okeycokey - we're all equal under the Farm (and not in an Animal Farm version of equal!).

The rule for wearing t-shirts is ...just don't wear the band's t-shirt that you are seeing at the time. That's not cool.

 

I think we're safe with GD and JT!

 

Unless...

 

- you're watching Metallica

- you're trying to get into Morrissey's first gig, whereby a Smiths t-shirt got you in for free!

 

Other considerations in the highly sophisticated world that is t-shirt etiquette...

 

- It can be OK to wear a very old t-shirt to a band's gig, demonstrating that you've been in it from the start!

- the greatest crime has to be: get to a gig; buy a poor quality, poorly designed tour t-shirt with dates on the back; put said abomination on over your existing  t-shirt; wear throughout gig. Sheesh!

Off to work...for the FINAL TIME PRE-GLASTONBURY!!!!!!!

Morning, had some great advice from someone yesterday which was "write down what is bothering you" so far I have written two chief exec email, now about to call bank then there will be a few issues with people I know to deal with.

Thanks everyone your support has been so lovely and needed, it has restored the positivity, just need to sort body out and all will be good.

Bit damp but as Dee said the dust needed a settling it is supposed to be sunny later.

That is good advice Slodge, I do that too sometimes and it really does help. It's quite therapeutic to write down what emotionally you'd like to get rid of- anger for something, worry for things, that sort of thing, then burn the piece of paper and therefore burn away the negative emotions. 

 

And listen to the boss and have a rest! :)

Natco is fresh out of Masala Chai and the shops don't have any :-( we will be tealess at the fete party, sorry. Maybe, there will be other, ahem, drinks available, in the blasting sunshine.  I will be along, fresh from my big smile and big hug for sawdusty surfer (and a 4 pack) to say thanks for being so generous and trying successfully for my tickets last October.
