I think Ben Howard has a middle card Pyramid slot, which would suit him I reckon.

I doubt that he'd accept a mid Pyramid slot, not after playing a similar set in 2013 and what with his new album being a lot darker. Most of the festivals he seems to be playing this year are ones he would be headlining a stage so that he can demand darkness and use moody lighting. Just my take on it

Who do you think the Other headliners are then?

I think it'll be:

Fri - Deadmau5

Sat - Ben Howard

Sun - Chems

You're Friday and Sundays you'd be struggling to argue against, I'd thought Chems Sunday for a while now but put ?'s over the other days more that definitive answers. Ben Howard is a strange one, his festival date/dates suggest closer to other sub but there is his own tour being bigger. Probably a good option in the general chart public eye for it but I shall avoid. I'm still going with the 2 subs I always thought and the 3rd in Jamie T like everyone else. If both Alt-J and Rudimental both took sub equivalent spots, they'd be getting done by T twice there plus it can't happen as Rudimental before Deaumau5 means them into Foo's and that's what should happen haha.

Deadmau5

Rudimental

The Vaccines

Peace

Ben Howard

???

The Maccabees?? (Can they do saturday?)

The Chemical Brothers

Jamie T

hmm, hard to think of a strong top three for each day... I wonder if they are holding back an Other Stage sub or something like it was for Ellie Goulding last year?

Or maybe it's something mad like FKA TWIGS subbing Ben Howard since she's getting massive slots across the board this year.

That link didn't work for me, but I believe you crawler you are on the ball

Ah that happened earlier when someone posted it.

Here's the quote anyway:

"Jungle, another new band returning after a triumphant 2014 performance, said: “Glastonbury has always been one of our favourite festivals and we cannot wait to play this year. Playing the Other stage is something of a dream come true – it’s going to be amazing looking out on Friday afternoon and seeing so many faces – nerve racking but exhilarating.”

I think I remember seeing Yuck early on John Peel in 2011, good times.

They were dog shit.

Saw the girl & her boyfriend walking around looking miserable as per, I pointed them out, my friend out of no where handed him a can of cider, said "cheer up" & walked off with us. Perplexed he cracked it open & said thanks.

They were bloody boring.

Is Ben Howard bigger than Paolo nutini was last year given that Paolo didn't headline, I see them as similar style and similar sized acts, I would hope that Ben Howard isn't one of the other headliners and we still have one more to come yet

This is my thinking in saying I don't think Ben Howard will headline the other stage, more suited to the sub as the sun is starting to set, just don't see him as a headliner
