Other Stage Headliners 2015

That Jamie T album is, I dunno, it's all a bit grown up isn't it? I quite like his earlier stuff, but this is all a bit mature and responsible. Like a mate who used to be a bit of laugh now talking about house prices

Ha ha great analogy. I actually really like the album though, did take a few listens mind. Think The Prophet is a great song. Pretty sure he'll be at Glasto, but not sure he'll headline. I hope he plays a few secret sets and I hear about them, be well cool seeing him in a small tent at silly hours

I don't know whether they're big enough, but if they play, they'd surely have to do it in the dark. I think they might just be too big for any other stage (perhaps John Peel?)

But yeah, Sigur Ros would be cool.

I can imagine one of those cheesy Glasto moments happening when Hoppípolla is played. I for one, would love this

Chance's of the Strokes headling? I know they said they won't be touring but the surely they'll be up for the odd festival appearance?

Id be very surprised if they headlined. Theyve never played glastonbury before, going for the big paying shows instead so doubt theyd make an exception this year

Svefn-G-Englar would be the moment for me (or any of the untitled 1-3), but yep, would be incredible. Would be an inspired Pyramid headliner but wouldn't happen, especially not 2015. Other headliner seems made for them right now.

Hot Chip, Sigur Ros, and whatever flavour of the month NME band hasn't done it yet.

Yes yes yes. Svefn-G-Englar is one of my all time faves. It was played at my wedding and ive never seen it played live before

I'd love them to do it. It's weird that it's been so long since they've played though. Wonder why that is?

Last time I saw them they opened with I Gaer. Was wonderful.

Johnny Marr didn't even headline JP when he played last year and hasn't sold out any dates on his academy tour, no chance he's headlining Other. Low on Pyramid or mid-Other for him.

I'd love Sigur Ros to do it but doubt they'll have an album out by then. I suppose they could do what they did for Kveikur and start touring before it comes out but I think that tour might just have been a continuation of the Valtari tour.

I don't understand how Morrissey's guitarist can be so bad. Even I can play This Charming Man and I'm not very good. Marr's not a candidate for Other headliner, I don't see his solo album doing much and the fact he plays some Smiths doesn't push him on that much.

If Hot Chip's new album goes down well I could see them headlining Other? Or maybe West Holts if they're not quite big enough.

Would love to see Hot Chip live. Gutted about not managing to catch any of the 2 Bears last year. Would love them seeing the John Peel though over the Other, but they're definitely big enough for the Other.

Way to big for the JP now. I think I saw them headlining the JP in, what 2007, 2008? Was cracking, but honestly, not a patch on that Other set a couple of years back. I thought they absolutely nailed it that night in 2010

I remember seeing them on the Other and it looked fantastic from a TV perspective. I suppose they are big for the JP now, but I always think in size to others who have headlined it in the past couple of years there still might be chance? I suppose it also depends on how their new album is received critically and commercially.
