She's on a similar level to bjork I'd say, and she headlined the other (i may be way off here). That England album was pretty well received too. I'm convinced she'd get a flaming lips sized crowd at least.

Down by the water is epic

It was well received, yeah, but mainly with people already familiar with all her work. She flirted with the mainstream for a while around the start of the 2000's with songs like This is Love and Good Fortune that boosted her popularity but it's always been more of a cult fanbase sort of thing. Same with Bjork really but she was bigger in her pomp and popular for longer I guess. I don't know if I'm making sense but I don't expect her to be a realistic candidate for Other is all I'm saying. Maybe middle of the Pyramid or Park headliner or something instead as she'd be great wherever.

Couldn't see her mid-Pyramid. I think she'd headline a stage. Other or Park depending on what they think of her size.

Yet maybe you're right. Didn't she play 2nd top on the bestival main stage though? I'd be sad in a way if she was only given park headliner status, even though the actual gig would be truly ace

YES MATE

I'd love to see her on Park. Would be incredible. Is she even doing anything right now though?

doesnt look like it, last gig was 2012 according to her website. Working on a new album presumably.

Did someone say she's an awful c**t in real life? (not nick cave)

That's disappointing. Thought they'd be keen to crack on with a new album/tour given they're still in the infancy of their '2nd era'.

It is - I love Editors and they are a festival favourite of mine

I think she's pro fox-hunting, if that's what you're thinking of? Love her music though.

I saw her at ally pally with Portishead in 2011 and it remains one of my all time top gigs

Let England shake is totally tremendous and I'd be at the front anywhere she played committing myself to her

Alt-J's new album is really mixed for me

Nara, every other freckle and hunger of the pine are great but the rest seems like filler.

The more I think about it, if they've got a light show I can imagine them working quite well as an other headliner. I'd only consider seeing them if there was nothing else I fancied however.

Those are great tracks - but the real gems for me are Bloodflood Part II, and The Gospel of John Hurt.

The album grows on me every time I listen. Very atmospheric - certainly one for the dark. Wish I'd had chance to listen to it more before I saw them live the other week.

hadn't thought of Bjork but that would make sense. not really a fan of her myself but she'd be a good alternative to the more current headliner (if there is one)

I think it sounds very "glastonbury",

Yeah I think his music is shit, but Calvin really could nail an other headline - skrillex looked incredible this year.

I saw Calvin at T, and that's because there was literally nothing else on, but I think that it will be quite a spectacle on the other stage!
