Other Stage Headliners 2015

Yeah they're not as big as Disclosure. I think they're JP headline sized. I thought they were a fairly small NME headliner when they did that at R&L in 2012.

A valid point, the tent did seem fairly empty at Reading as they was still on for 20 minutes after Foo Fighters! So thought it was rammed when we left but could get to about the middle.

But I think at Glastonbury unless it was a massive Pyramid/Other stage the JP could be to small. (Really its hope as I just don't like the JP tent tbh.)

I reckon something like playing last like the XX but having someone biggish like the Smashing Pumpkins would suit them better,.

I couldnt name or recognise a single justice song.

what's it like?

I really want this to happen now. Not just because it'd be bad ass but to prove people wrong!

Just a kinda rockier electronic house thing.

Think this song is played between artists on one of the main stages at Glastonbury. Intro ends at 0:38.

They are a second rate Chemical Brothers

Absolutely not. A Justice set could hold up against a Chemical Brothers set.

Are they current? No probably not but neither are The Chems. I would say they would both have to bring out something amazing to warrant an Other stage headline slot.

Maybe i'm just a Justice fanboy? :ninja:

Yes but the Chems have been defining and evolving dance music for over 20 years and released more albums that I can remember, so they pretty much transcend current fads. They have earned their niche and will undoubtedly come back with something new and different and relevant.

Justice haven't.

AVD is not that bad- what let me down is that it was 4 years in the making. When bands bring an album out every year or so, an under-par release is easily forgotten. After 4 years, you expect a new album to be really well thought through and honestly I think it sounds like they could have made that album in a week or two. Still some great songs; I love New Lands.

I saw them at O2 Bristol in 2011 just before AVD was released and they smashed it live though. Would love to see them again, hopefully with better new tunes this time! Anyone who doubts them as a live force should watch the documentary of their first album 'A Cross The Universe'. They are absolutely nuts.
