Other Stage Headliners 2015

Considering they are headlining other festivals this year - big enough to headline the other stage do you think?

On the lineup predictions thread Deadmau5 seems to be appearing frequently as the Fri Other suggestion - if people are thinking he could do it then I would replace him with Rudimental

I think subbing it might be more realistic as they're still 3rd down at T but they could probably get away with headlining it.

They're in Romania on the Saturday so maybe subbing or headlining Friday?

I don't imagine they'd headline it anyway, sub would be a good slot I think, pretty atmospheric band

I reckon they are perfect to put up against the foo fighters (imo)

Considering they had their set cut short last year - think the eavi would be quite generous to them. I think they'd probably be a good other headliner option.

If Paolo only subbed the Other, Rudimental won't be any higher than subbing either.

This sounds like the sub option I mentioned a while ago. I definitely thought they'd be back. It won't be headline though, if they could still get away with 3rd it'd be great. Other is better for them though, Pyramid felt too big for them.

I'm still going for Alt-J not heading. There is enough from Neil to say they aren't. Ben Howard, Rudimental and Hot Chip/Alt-J as subs for me. I can't pick except for The Chem Bros.

I don't think they need any token of generosity as they had their set cut short when they only lost one song as a result. Lily Allen lost 4 or 5 songs for it. They're just back because they're promoting a new album.

Their album turnaround has been much quicker than I'd expected so yeah I fully expect them to sub. Can't see them headlining - they haven't really got any slot that major anywhere else.

It's a strange one. Will they go for an older act or a dance one? I think the issue with an older act is while Foo's will appeal to the young crowd, they are an older band themselves now.

Deadmau5 is about as likely as any I think.

Not sure why Foals can't headline one of the days? I know they're down as a rumour for the Prymaid, but an Other Stage headlining slot would be perfect for them.

It would have been alt-J headlining instead of Ben Howard, with Chems moved to Sat, but alt-J opposite Flo would be odd.

Considered Beck for Friday heasliner, too.

They could, but Friday is the only day we're struggling for options, and I doubt they'd put them opposite Foos.

I think Friday will either be a dance act or a more niche act.

I understand his music is a lot darker on the last album and also he already played a very sunny afternoon last time so I would think they'd like to change it up a bit than put him one slot up. Same with Foals; they subbed Other last time so moving them up one slot on the same stage probably isn't as likely as moving them across stages to the Pyramid.
