Friday is a good night to go watch people make a tit of themselves at the side shows at the Unfairground. Have a go yourself, even. Everyone is a bit jaded by Sunday and they seem to close fairly early in the night, although they may have stayed open quite late last year?

Rudimental or Foo's for the third time, hoping JP is good.

Agree it's a bit of shit booking for other. But it wont look so bad if we end up with something like...

Pyramid: Foo Fighters

Other: Rudimental

Park: First Aid Kit

West Holts; Jungle

JPT: Tame Impala

First Aid Kit are surely too big for the Park? Sold out the Hammersmith Apollo and Royal Albert Hall in the last 6 months

Hmm I knew they played Hammersmith but didn't realise they'd sold it and RAH out. Don't think they'd suit a high up slot on other particularly, likewise I don't think they'll do the pyramid (3/4th would be a possibility I guess). Caribou might be a more realistic guess maybe

To think we had this in 2013 and last year's was also pretty awesome, that is just fucking tragic, although sadly quite likely matt.

I've got very high hopes for wh/park/jp though. Looks like they're gonna be very stellar.

Caribou to headline The Park, Jungle won't headline West Holts and I have my doubts whether Tame Impala will headline JP

I would love to see First Aid Kit back, but not sure if they will be this year, I would guess somewhere like 3rd down on Other or 4th down on Pyramid or something? Difficult to place because although the recent album did really well they're didn't get much mainstream attention beyond 6 music as far as i'm aware, not a radio listener myself so my finger is exceptionally distant from the pulse.

I was convinced I spent loads of time by the Other Stage that year, but looking back I only saw 6 acts on it the whole weekend, I did see a bit of Tame Impala but got bored to tears, ditto Alt J

Yeah. Caribou and The Vaccines can each only do Friday so I would think they'd both slot in on Park and John Peel respectively. If not The Vaccines then possibly Suede as they're in Bexhill the night before. Would then think an older act for West Holts.

Vaccines would be too big to headline JPT surely? Esp. given they'd clash with the Foos. An other stage sub work nicely for them. Now Suede at Glastonbury, there is a shout and something I hadn't thought of

I still think Tame Impala will do JPT one night but year Jungle probs won't headline West Holts, a sub slot on the stage would be brilliant for them though.

Well there's really not much in subbing Other and headlining John Peel. If they wanted the headline slot in a tent then it'd be fine. Don't know if playing opposite Foo Fighters would matter; I don't consider them that similar or having an obvious crossover.

Will isn't here to do it so i'l do it in his place

"??!?!??!????!???"

Cheers Matt! I actually think that they've lost a little bit of the hype that they did have a year ago. And even then I found them boring.

I believe that they work a hell of a lot better in a tent but like another band who I feel scorned to even mention somehow their popularity means that they can't fit into a tented stage, therefore hindering pretty much most festival performances of theirs in the future. There are many acts who don't suit open air stages and I feel Ridimental is one of them.

Three years in a row is excessive

Calvin Harris or Avicii should have been approached about this Friday night slot. Anyhow they haven't actually been announced and I'd be at the Foo Fighters anyway !
