Is it just me that is a bit less excited (and a bit more scared) about the chemical brothers rumoured specifically for Sunday night? i'm not sure ii'll have the energy by that point?!

Prodigy were on the Sunday night in 2009 and it was definitely a struggle.

Chems on the Saturday in 2011 though was bloody fantastic.

If anyone has any serotonin left by the Sunday evening I'll give them a hearty salute, I'll probably be a weepy mess by 10pm on Sunday

ha this is true. i usually make sure to have at least one day (Friday or Saturday) drug free / relying purely on alcohol so that I'm somewhat recharged for the Sunday night, although i'm sure a plea of 'don't put a big dance act on on Sunday 'cause we'll be coming down like Charlie Brown' to the organisers won't do much good unfortunately

For some reason chucking the dance act on the Sunday night always seems like a great idea to the organisers. I don't get it personally. For some reason Moby, Basement axx and Groove Armada all worked for me - prob because they have a 'band' aspect - whereas Orbital and Chems were a struggle.

I've got work on the Tuesday this year, I'll be taking it very easy on the Sunday anyway

Last year I did not take it easy on the Sunday, didn't get back until late on Monday, slept for over 12 hours until the middle of Tuesday afternoon, tried to get out of bed and found that my legs weren't working and fell face first on the carpet. No idea what I'd have done if I'd have had to work.

I'm praying I get a job that I'm currently going for as I have told them I've booked 2 weeks off at the end of June, that way I can enjoy a few days of recovery before going to another festival the Thursday after Glastonbury

I assumed that you were employed by Ed Banger Records, like you were the manager of that little yellow puppet from the Flat Beat video or something.

I'm hoping to get my new job but have to have most of June off with working at Isle Of White and Glastonbury !

Ha! Yeah i may end up having a medical for my visa not long after so i face the possibility of an alcohol only glastonbury... booze and a lot of pro plus will hopefully be enough!

but but but Mr Oizo wasn't signed to Ed Banger when Flat Beat came out. My dad got me a life size Flat Eric when I was a kid and it's still one of my prized possessions

How big is life sized? I remember it taking me a while to realise that the puppet was not Mr Oizo, that was a disappointing day.
