dondo
We went to watch it both days whilst it was in Yorkshire and so glad we did- really enjoyed in. It came very close to our house in Leeds on Saturday so only few minutes walk away. Given the race hadn't started proper until Harewood House that was a bit of a procession. We went to Haworth yesterday and that was much better- seemed a better atmosphere with the people in the pre race parade more into it than they were Saturday and the bikes were going much faster. Managed to get a good viewing spot and as there was a breakaway group saw two lots of cyclists go past. There was also a park that had been turned into a spectator hubs with big screen, stalls etc so went up there afterwards for a bit of a chill and so the kids could have a play. Excellent weekend and think Yorkshire did Britain proud
