jayz had the history etc ad te rap credentials and is generally well liked, kanye is a puff daddy style producer turned rapper who is pretty much hated generally over here. Could he fill over an our with his hits. he could poss have few guests. just dnt think he would be up to same standard.

Nah

he easily has the acclaim/hits/presence to headline. He'd be divisive, but my god he'd be great for those who enjoy his music.
With the absence of any 20 minute demonstrations and speeches, he'd be unbelievable, that tune is absolutely massive

I'm all aboard the Kanye train for GF, I can't vision it happening but I really hope it does

Out of them I think I only know gold digger

All this "how many songs do i know" shit is kinda pointless. i'm 18 so never listened to metallica, didn't stop them from headlining, I've only heard "fire" by kasabian and that shit one with a black skinhead sample, didn't stop them from headlining, my mums never heard of arcade fire, didn't stop them from headlining.

Kanye's easily big enough to headline, regardless of big chill, wireless tickets last year. He's incredibly well known and more than enough fans who know most of his songs will turn up to see him at the pyramid.

That's surprising, as Stronger was inescapable when it came out. You'd most probably recognise Touch the Sky and Niggas in Paris too

You can barely even call Stronger his song using that sample. Calling it a sample is being kind to him. It's basically him rapping over Daft Punk's most famous track.

Can I Kick It was just A Tribe Called Quest rapping over Lou Reed's most famous track. Calling it a sample is being kind to them. Those bloody rap singers.
