Phone chargers in lockers

Available for the T in the Park campers, these small lockers are perfect to hold items such as wallets, cameras, passport, prescription medication, mp3 players and phones. Plus they have a 12v car cigarette lighter style power outlet for you to charge your phone or camera. You'll need your phone to capture photos of all the crazy times, and to phone your mate who can't be with you during their favourite song! Most phone chargers are available to buy from LockerHouse.

The lockers are open and security managed 24 hours a day. CCTV is also fitted for added security of your belongings. Lockers are available to book in advance from LockerHouse. Secure personal items lockers brought to us by LockerHouse in the campsite fitted with 12v power for phone charging are available to buy online. Please book in advance. Please bring your own 12v car charger adapter.

Nope, they recently sent me an e-mail saying it's usb now, not car charger - "Lockers with power NOW support USB charging. To use lockers with power to charge your device you'll need to bring your device's USB CHARGING cable.", "12v car chargers NOT supported. For a limited time do not worry if you only have a cigarette charger please contact the Lockerhouse box office for assistance."

It's on their site as well - http://www.lockerhouse.co.uk/booklocker.asp?eventcode=128

Like a few have said it is now just a USB socket so all you need now is your charging cable. 2 mates could chip in, buy a USB splitter and then it allows you to both charge your phones at the same time.

The lockers are a God send. Used them now for 2 years and for £16 it is ideal.

Hi guys!

I work at a small start-up company called Volt who provide festival-goers with portable mobile chargers, so you can charge on the go. It's our first time on T in the Park and we're really looking forward to it!

If you want, you can check it out at getvolt.dk/en/tinthepark. Have a great festival!

i tried this in 2012 but needed a car charger. was a massive ball ache paying to get it charged. this year ive bought an external battery for chanrging purposes, only a tenner and can get me additional 9 hours worth of charge on my iphone. best for emergencies and checking for any updates to sets etc. plus usually my alarm clock
