Car sharing to/from the festival

I'm currently planning to head up on my own, as I have to work Friday and most of my mates are too boring to go this year lol

On previous years I've met up with folk needing a lift and driven them to/from the festival in my car, one time by meeting some members from on here. There doesn't seem to be much of that going on this year - do people still look to car share, and if so what's the best way to go about it? I'd be happy to either give someone else a lift, or to hitch a ride in someone else's car - just rather do that than head up alone (boring!).

It seems rather bizarre that TITP rant on about car sharing on their website, but don't provide any facility for people needing/offering a lift to find each other!
