Stage and day splits?

So excited for my first End of the Road! Such a stellar lineup. Does anyone have any good guess as to when the stage and day splits will be announced? With a lineup of that quality, clashes are evidently inevitable but the sooner you know the easier it will be!

Alternatively, does anyone also know of any bands who have announced day and stage splits on their own terms? I know the headliners have their days confirmed, and The Horrors and John Grant are down for Saturday according to their respective websites but there's still plenty of gaps to fill.

From my memory of past years, it does seem to have been fairly late on - perhaps within 2 to 4 weeks of the event - so expect it to be August at least.

They mentioned on Facebook to someone a couple of weeks back that the stage and day splits would be in the next 10 days, but that has now been and gone.

I suspect we'll see the splits imminently, but we won't get timings until probably the week before. We normally work them out, roughly from timings of previous years.

By my reckoning, we've still got the contest winners to be announced. I know these tend to play on the Thursday now, but I would have expected them to be mentioned at some point.

There's confirmation that The Arrows Of Love are in the Big Top at 2.15 on the Saturday, with The Wytches following them. That's from twitter:

I would strongly recommend Arrows of Love - caught them at Camden Crawl not too long ago and while the venue was pretty bare, they were ace live. The frontman jumped into the crowd and started walking round, singing, 'dancing' with people - it was hilarious but so much fun! Even if you don't know a single song, check them out!

I'm volunteering so just praying that I'll be off on the saturday afternoon now!

Looks like Malkmus is on the Friday, which means there's no chance of a clash with The Flaming Lips. RESULT! But (on the assumption he's headlining) it's liable that he'll now clash with the Gene Clark thing. That's be bad!

More to follow later, apparently. I know it's probably because No Other is still pretty niche but it's interesting that the act they've been promoting as headliner is on the garden stage.

It's a funny thing but, looking at the line-up chopped up like this, it suddenly seems less interesting. Hmmm.

But then I think of the Guilfest line-up, happening right now just down the road from me, and I'm a little more reassured.

Ghost Of The Sabre Tooth Tiger are new, and are Sean Lennon's band.

Also, Andy Shauf appears to be new as well.

Have to agree with this. Not sure why that should be. For me, the most anticipated 'big' acts all seem to clash on Fri eve.

Electric Wurms in the Big Top is going to be absolutely rammed isn't it? And with Flaming Lips the day before, expect the #EOTR hashtag on twitter to be full of photos of people standing with Wayne Coyne.

Sure is, though a few stages didn't quite correlate with last year's in terms of number of acts. I think the tipi on Sunday and the big top on Saturday were the main offenders here.

No, it's just my assumption, based on how often guests turn up with other bands and the fact it's the Flaming Lips.

I'm really enjoying what I'm hearing from Mazes on their album "Ores & Minerals". Should be a great way to kick the festival off on day one. Should make up for the possible clash between British Sea Power and Temples :-(
