The hostel you recommended in Dublin, was especially good! And our whole trip went very smoothly, it's a damn lovely country you guys have

Hopefully T day works in both our favours in October, and maybe I'll see you at Glasto next year.

It was my first time trying last year so I've never known anything but success when it comes to tickets but I'd imagine it must be agony having to sit there with no joy and gradually coming to the realisation that there are no tickets left and at the very best you have six months of being unsure whether you're going, until the resale in April. I'd hate for any of us to have to go through that.

It's rubbish, don't waste your cash, V, Leeds, Reading, T, are so much better.

Personally I think a day at Lovebox or Hyde Park Calling is about the best the UK festival scene has to offer.

I will not be trying on ticket day but only because I have decided to work it instead, I've had enough of having no money to do anything other than Glastonbury and I want to go to Ibiza with my mates!

I've decided to try and do something a bit different next year and go as a volunteer, I've been doing festivals for a few years now (admittedly only Glastonbury once before, which was a nightmare- long story!) and I'm trying to gain as many different experiences as I can

Plus it'll be the first time of doing a big festival solo so I figure it'll be a sure fire way for me to meet people!

I hope T Day works in your favour again 01seb. I'll not be bumping into you at Glastonbury next year though. My wife and I have decided to go to another festival instead. I've been to Glastonbury many times, but this year was only my wife's second time. She doesn't want to go again for various reasons and I can no longer see the point as it's too big for me now. I'll probably still try to help others out on T Day though.

I'll be 54 and I want to go just to piss the guy off that said I was too old to be in the tent at glade during the Sasha set.

As always will be doing everything I can to get tickets. Was devastated when I was unsuccessful for this year. Really wanted to go again with my little boy, his first was 2013 when he was 6 months. He would have had more idea about what was going on this year.

Everything crossed for October!

There are only 2 months and 13 days (75 days) until the 5th October... Bristol Balloon festival, SW4, moving house and a week surfing and then it will be upon us. lather rinse repeat ;-)

Think going to try and use the computers at work and get loads of mates in...

Seriously though I didn't think that sort of attitude even existed at Glastonbury....But if it does, then isn't it about time these youngsters got their own 'dance scene' instead of trying to smooth in on ours!!

I cant believe anyone would say that someone is too old to be at Glastonbury. What the hell. Ironic though, considering the event will have been going on long before the young scamp was probably even born.

Yeah, I'll be trying. Was gutted to have to miss it this year (baby was born a week before gates opened) and I was grumpy as hell watching on the TV (between feeds & nappy changes).

I was giving next year a miss as its becoming abit of a groundhog day scenario for me, not missed one since 2000, but was informed by my other half that i need to take my youngest son next year as he was gutted over not going this year! so yep! i'll be trying!

Can't believe it but I'm not excited about it and think I want a year off. I had a great time again this year, my 6th, but I'm finding it more hard work now I'm 40! Still got a dodgy foot from this year's.

Maybe I'll change my mind the day before today!
