AC/DC Says Lars

You should make that, the queues are usually quite big then and I think most people get there a bit after doors.

I am waiting for stage times before I commit to anything. I want to see Royal Blood but I am not so bothered about Iggy but the good thing about GA tickets at Wembley is you can sit in the unreserved seats which is handy.

Umm...you're talking about Foo Fighters right?

Well... Walking out of wembley, that was fantastic.

Compared to the who (who I only saw on TV) they were lightyears better. Compared to the foo fighters boring brand of rock, it was far more entertaining.

It was never going to happen, but it would have been great on the Pyramid.

AcDc

Kanye

Florence

Would have been a blinding set of headliners

Big fat yes from me. Their performance at Download back in 2010 was out of this world. They are easily (one of) the biggest global acts that could, and are yet to play Glastonbury. It would be a huge coup for the festival and hopefully the band views Glastonbury a bit differently now after recent, heavier headliners. It would be a helluva moment that's for sure.

I'm all for Pyramid headliners that are a bit different and not what the festival would usually book.

Edit: Just realised this thread is a year old. Oh well, my point still stands  :sarcastic:

They were absolutely brilliant!  Money may well be a factor in getting them on the Pyramid but I doubt the stage set up is anymore.  Apart from the runway, that was only used for about 2 songs, there wasn't anything that couldn't fit on the Pyramid stage - the bell, Rosie, cannons, pyro, a ridiculous amount of Marshall amps - it could all be accommodated I'm sure.

I was at Wembley on Saturday too.

I've been to a good few stadium shows over the years, but I've never seen a crowd so engaged as it was for AC DC. The whole stadium was rocking for TNT and Highway to Hell.

Let's face it, you're never going to get a thoughtful set full of emotional highs and lows with AC DC, but if you want a full on rock show, they can't be beaten.
