Depends on FR's definition of 'arena' though. If its Gaslight or All Time Low, it'll be fine on that stage or the FR - especially now that it appears that the big gap will be during Vampire Weekend, who will be a big draw. If it is actually an 'arena' size band though, it will be carnage!

That's not the point Yellow. All most people know about the secret act is that it's an 'arena sized band' even though it isn't necessarily, and if it turns out it's on the Lock Up it's gonna be packed regardless of who it is. Even if it's been strongly hinted that it's someone shit and nobody cares, I'd wager a lot of people would show up hoping it's their favourite massive band anyway.

Yeah for some reason everyone seems to want to flock to it even though they didn't know it was going to happen when they shelled out 200 quid and it not happening would make no different to their weekend anyway.

I have a hunch the gap on FR Friday is there because the set times are wrong. During the day its only 25 minute sets which does seem odd.

I'm not going to vouch for the validity of the set times themselves, only for the fact that they are definitely the ones from the app. Still, it seems to me that if the times aren't known / confirmed, they seem to be putting in arbitrary minute interval times past midnight (i.e. Jimmy McGhie: 0:01, Jarlath Regan: 0:02 etc.) so the fact that these times do all technically work out and are not seemingly random suggest to me that they are correct. That said, I will be the first to call myself wrong if anything changes, and I'll check if there are any new / updated times in the app feed tomorrow.

There are some criminally short sets, Saturday NME mainly, 35 or 40 all day.

Yeah I was thinking he'd get a longer set as he's sort of a sepecial guest as such

I'm not. It's one of his first solo shows; I just thought the special guest thing was that he was on at an earlier time than he would normally be.

Dance stage times have gone up. I've updated the Leeds clashfinder. Hopefully some more stages' times will come out today.

For Reading they have, but even then Matt's had to do a bit of guesswork with the set lengths and it's unclear how accurate the app is, although the set start times seem okay. I'm doing the Leeds clashfinder anyway and that wasn't done in full to leak because nobody cares about Leeds.

Heads up: the FR stage times from the app have changed. Bipolar sunshine is on at 19:35. Palma violets at 20:25. So maybe no secret set there? But it would finish awfully early.

On further inspection, all the lockup times on Friday have been shifted back an hour, it now starts at 11, and JEW are on at 6:30. Secret set moved maybe?

Most of the genuine lock up times are on the website now. JEW are at 7:30 at Reading as you said before.

It's finishing early most if not all nights so as to not clash with Nero or Disclosure.

Edit: Just seen they've also added in a lot more of the times from Leeds, their Saturday on FR stage doesn't leave a gap after Childhood, and Reading's still does.
