I don't know why but that reminds me of an event my son in law told me about after borrowing my car to tour around europe last summer with his, then, American girlfriend. They toured all over and slept in the back of the car. Anyway, they eventually ended up in Amsterdam, went to a club, took acid and then decided to drive somewhere not so central in order to sleep in the car. Apparently they ended up in a train or tram terminal in the dark bouncing the car over upraised tracks (must have been a rail terminal). He said this was going on for ages before they eventually found a way out.

Anyway, he is telling me this a few months later, but having just that day written off my very low mileage car. I turned to him and said " You really didn't like that car did you"? He just laughed
