I dont believe in god but im praying for this too be true!!! so far there is one band (Kasabian) that i must see, which wouldnt be too bad if the festival was only 3 days long.

They co-headlined Primavera Sound last Friday, they'll headline Pukkelpop as well, so I think they'll close the Main Stage that day.

The thurday is the worst day for me so far (despite Foals and Interpol) so if Muse plays that day it will be absolutely awesome!

Depends on if they find someone bigger or not. This august there are very few big bands in Europe :/

I see the point, but major lazer is practically a dj set so I don't think they have problem with it. Just a party. I think they considered stromae as a proper singer having a higher slot than them, that was the problem at Werchter. Also I don't think they have a problem playin with the light. In 2011 at pinkpop they played half of the set with the light, headliner position, same situation.

About headliners: sziget staff is absolutely not stupid, they know Ellie's night needs a proper headliner. Another rock band would make this year very good (not for everyone's tastes, but in a general view, especially for this august's situation). BUT I don't know if they want to pay or if they have enough money for something like Muse (people's choice). Kol must have asked for good money to come across the ocean

Cheaper alternatives I could see are Libertines (would like them, but they are considered headliners in very few places), Nutini (super quality but I'm afraid Ellie is more mainstreamly known), or a rapper like Kanye() or Kendrick. Can't see other options, even those ones are not likely to happen. Otherwise if it's another electronic act I hope it's not a dj.

If they can't provide another headliner (which would be normal, with al the expensive art and circus performances and the money spent on stages) I hope they'll go for 1 or 2 quite expensive subs like tame impala or some rock/metal to bring some quality to the main.

Last year Outkast played before the End Show and Outkast are definitely a headliner. I wouldn't rule out another big name on the Sunday, in fact I expect one. Who it is is another question. Obviously Muse are rumoured due to the pin on the island, Kendrick could come over a couple of days early for his tour, The Offspring are in Europe... I can't think of anyone else who's about really. I'd be happy with any of those three. I think if they booked one of those three for the Sunday a lot of people would accept Ellie Goulding headlining (remember, any headliner that day will clash with Interpol, so for me personally I hope she headlines so I don't get a clash).

As for the Alt-J/Script dilemma- I really hope Alt-J play last because they are better and because I want to see Boban i Marko. The Script headlining the first night is a worst case scenario for me. The one possible save is that on the Sziget Official event page Alt-J are listed first.

Maybe cause Scripts are more popular worldwide (even if this seems to be AltJ's year) anyway I'll totally like alt j with the sunset and a beer (after Gogol fuckin bordello). Also I think that after alt j I'll go and see the city with the night lights totally want to do this one night, Budapest by night is just magic. And after this break I can come back in time for Gui boratto I hope, so no problem with the script for me

Yes, i want to experience the city at night too. Was thinking of going out in the city on the Monday night (to get far away from Robbie williams). Do you not like Gogol Bordello? ive seen them once and they were fantastic.

Oh yes, misunderstanding I totally love Gogol, I think I'll go crazy with them. "Fucking" was a compliment ahah, they're insane! Personally I don't expect other headliners but, who knows? Anything could happen. If it happens I think it'll be just one

Definitely not Robbie Williams fan, but I think his show is gonna be huge even if we're not into his music. As I can see from some videos on youtube the tour is very well prepared, a lot of musicians, special effects etc. For me it's something you have to see once in your life if you're at a festival like this and you have the chance to. You know, like madonna, or kylie minogue.. not my kind of music, but they all made history of pop music. And nowadays I consider robbie even a better performer than these two ladies. Maybe you'll regret missing this, just sayin could be enjoyable

That's what I am thinking, I would never pay to see or go to a concert to see Robbie Williams alone but since he'll be there and he's such a massive artist worldwide (which you can't deny) I feel like I'm kind of obligated to go watch him lol. I'll most likely never see him again after Sziget, I don't listen to his music much but you have to agree that he's got a lot of big songs that were very very popular at one point or another.

i totaly agree with the last two posts, i dont like Garix but i will probably watch as the show should be good.

but i just cant stand Robbie williams, its not really his music.....its him! Everyone has that one movie star, or band, or TV person that you just really dont like for whatever reason, well mine is Robbie Williams. I'm saying all this and i bet i end up watching him! lol

I do fancy a night out in the city though as some of my friends have said its fantastic night out in a beautiful city. Mind you, i could do that on the moving in weekend.

Sziget is getting closer guys.....!!

For a beautiful night out my advice is go and see the beautiful view of Chain Bridge and the parliament with the night lights (very emotional, beautiful feelings) and then the best ruin pubs of the city for me are Szimpla and Instant. Anyway in that zone of the city there's plenty of ruin pubs, great atmosphere

A few different places, but it doesn't run really late. After a certain time (around midnight) you have to get the train which runs on the opposite side of the river to the main city centre. 

 

I'm not there for Day -1, but I'd rather watch Robbie Williams than The Script, Ellie Goulding, Avicii and Martin Garrix. Possibly even Kings of Leon, even if I much prefer their music (I've seen Kings of Leon a few times, back when their setlists were much better than they are now). I'm not exactly bothered I'm not seeing him, I'd never pay to see him, but I'm sure he'll be good.

Kings of leon 21.30 confirmed by sziget official. So major lazer at the sunset. Strange but very enjoyable. And it's not the first time they play with the light, their show has so much liveliness they can play even at 4pm.

Also I got the feeling that the next announcement will include Beck. Sziget Italia Facebook page often "likes" an artist's page some days before they announce him/her/them. I saw they did the same with Florence and Kol and now they "liked" Beck's page, and he is touring in Europe in sziget's week. If I'm wrong just ahahahah
