Mr November
Mew announced a new album and European tour in May today. I love these guys and as far as I know, they've never played. They'd kill it on the Park.
Zoo Music Girl
Anyone know why so few acts announced for Patti's day? I'm so tempted but my friend went and hated it a few years back. Hmmmm. Savages a good addition.
dentalplan
Anyone know why so few acts announced for Patti's day? I'm so tempted but my friend went and hated it a few years back. Hmmmm. Savages a good addition. It's a smaller event than the Saturday with half as many stages and it's more rock oriented. That's how it was last year anyway and it's shaping up that way again. Both days look excellent so far. OBface
Great great line up there for Field Day. Bit too close to Glastonbury to make it feasible for me and there are other festivals I'd probably choose over it but still looks like a cracker. Having seen the lineups already released for the summer I'm starting to think it will be a stellar year for Glastonbury...
Tuna
Sunday was much sparser last year too. Imagine it's a financial and/or licensing restriction.
FloorFiller
Having seen the lineups already released for the summer I'm starting to think it will be a stellar year for Glastonbury... yep if Glastonbury can get even half of the good bits of the other announced festival lineups then it'll be a cracking one

Matt42
The Vaccines touring March/April surely gotta be very likely... but I can't think where they'd play! http://diymag.com/2015/01/19/the-vaccines-return-with-new-single-handsome

kingcrawler
Pyramid Sub or Other headline are the only places they could play really.
Matt42
their venus are quite small, so maybe they aren't chasing massive slots.. as everyone had been predicting! What if they sub the other?
LondonTom
Field Day lineup usually has a lot of crossover. Hoping for lots anyway as I'm probably out of the country. It's annoying how regularly good these lineups are because the festival itself is a bit naff (well, mostly the crowd. Sound has been fine since 2012 imo) I thought it was ok last year for the Pixies day, lots of people standing around chatting than watching the bands and that but it was fairly easy to get to a more lively part of the crowd for most acts, rocking up 5 minutes before they came on. All in all for its cost/what it is, and the fact it had a decent bar I enjoyed it! Was a bit meh with the first announcement but its shaping up nicely, will wait til the day again though and if its sunny had to it. here's a youtube link to the new song if you'd rather skip the article: but yeah i have no idea where they'd play. Other headline at a push. Not sure what I think of it, I kind of like it I think.....pretty much sounds like most of their tracks but with some effects on the vocals. Agreed, silly but enjoyable video Doubt they will headline the Other, there not that big really. Despite the constant coverage they seem to get in the press, I'd imagine third down Pyramid/Sub other (maybe even sub Pyramid if its a lean year.) What if they sub the other? It'll be a small tour to preview the new songs, I'd guess the album will come out around then. I'll be really surprised if the tour doesn't sell out really quickly. the wonderwhy
I reckon they'll sub Foo Fighters, rake in a load of free publicity from it & headline R&L next year off the back of a big arena tour at the end of the year. Just my hunch. They may well sub R&L but that would screw them over headlining until the next album. Big slots at T, Glastonbury and maybe V then headlining R&L on an exclusive next year.

Perks
Nice to see Christy Moore is back touring again after his illness, he's in Derry on the 19th & 20th June, but then nothing till 4th July..I'm hoping he makes a nice return to Glastonbury
dentalplan
So Beck's touring again. In August but hopefully he starts a bit earlier. Also the Melt! lineup includes Kylie, La Roux, London Grammar, Giorgio Moroder and more.

rjb94
British Sea Power playing their debut album in full at the Roundhouse in June. Would love them to do this at Glasto. High up the Park maybe? Or William's Green
Space Shanty
Spiritualized have a couple of tour dates in the US in May. Go on then. I would be immensely chuffed if this were to happen. Saw them again a couple of years ago and it was still superb. And to echo what many have said, hopefully Glasto makes a point of pillaging that brilliant Field Day line-up.
