There's reasons to suggest they could (no exclusive tout at Reading, A lot of dates near by) but you're probably right that they won't...Maybe Bragg will book them for Leftfield? That'd be a treat.

Don't even suggest it, if they play Glasto that's the money I forked out for a Reading ticket basically down the drain what with how shite the rest of the lineup is :P. I could kind of see it happening on Leftfield after Anti-Flag...or maybe William's Green? Even John Peel seems too big for them to me.

Tori Amos (or rather her team) tweeted that she has several special European dates to announce for the Summer. She's started with two Norway dates on June 12th & 13th. Could be a possible Acoustic

Was just gonna post this. Reckon there is a really good chance of her being there, thinking acoustic too.

Hoping Tinariwen might be back this year, can see them doing an afternoon slot on West holts. They're available and think the main singer is back with them now

Van headlining the acoustic tent and Gregory on West Holts?

Also the Dave Matthews UK tour finishes on 22nd of June so could be about.

Elbow and Madness headlining On Blackheath, Manics and Kelis subbing on both days, not too sure what the cross over is like, although surely Elbow won't be back this year

Manics, Elbow and Kelis all played last year... doubt any of them would play two years in a row - it's not like any of them have grown in stature....

Looks like we can shave ZZ top off the list as well then. (just wanted the first 7 words of that sentence)

thought major lazer were beyond dreadful at bestival. don't get the love, but whatever floats yer boat. modest mouse please.

edit: not really glastonbury time but good to see Battles doing festivals

I quite like Major Lazer on record (well some tunes).....but jesus, I didn't get that "show" at Bestival at all. I've all also never felt old and of touch at a gig before that. Perplexing!

I will take that link as confirmation Battles will be at Glasto though :D:P

BUT we could get a Manics 'Holy Bible' set, given that last year they were touring Futurology.

Just wishful thinking of course, think the Cardiff gig is too early for them to appear.

Shame about ZZ Top

I wouldn't say that, especially when one of the other headliners is Elbow. Still think they'll sub, but didn't think they'd still be playing places like Kendall Calling at this stage.

likewise (along with Liverpool Sound City). seems everybody's been massively overestimating their size - some people were throwing their name around for possible Reading headliners (albeit, often as a 'co-headliner)

I love their live show, I'm into the shitty side of EDM though so maybe that's why, I only caught part of them at Bestival as I was watching Chvrches but I seen them do Stampede by Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike (I usually hate the song) but really enjoyed their trap version of it :P

Yes to Battles, also they should book And So I Watch You From Afar while their at it

I was thinking they'd sub Glastonbury and T this year then headline R&L next year on an exclusive, but I just can't see that happening now.

Yeah same.

I thought the Sound City slot was just a continuation of their intimate tour but maybe that isn't the case. Maybe its not even an intimate tour? :P

They don't seem the be selling themselves greatly with these slots, I still expect them to play a big spot at glasto and R/L mind you, but maybe not quite the sub potential everyone expected
