Just saw that on twitter, how have they managed that, Ben Howard the other headliner, and there's a good chance he'll be at glastonbury, I don't think it would alter her chances of playing much

I need George Clinton and P-Funk at Glastonbury more than I need anything else in the world right now. Great booking for Wilderness, they're in the US on 20th June, and have a huge gap in their schedule between then and late August. Site hasn't updated to include Wilderness yet but I assume the gap is for festivals.

I'd take Coldplay headlining all weekend for 80 minutes of TFC in my favourite place.

The Foo's support slot is an odd one mind, though Grohl has gone up in my estimation a bit. Your average FF fan doesn't seem to happy looking at the Facebook page.

They're rarely mentioned, positively or negatively, on this forum.

They're rarely even around anymore to be fair. Particularly not south of the border. Do you reckon they'd headline the Park though? I've no idea but seems generous. Might look at getting a ticket for that Foos show late on with that (and alleviating a clash) as an incentive.

TFC absolutely anywhere; yes please. They were quite friendly (along with Captain America) back in those olden times so it shouldn't be too big a surprise to see them supporting t' Farters.

I was gonna mention Dinosaur Jr. but thought better of it as Teenage Fanclub had top 10 albums and top 40 singles and such. Now looking at Dinosaur Jr.'s discog it appears they did too. Surprised by that.

Yeah Avalon or maybe Acoustic would be a good shout too. Probably more fitting for a sort of cult-ish act than middle of a bill.

Seasick Steve is supporting Counting Crows in Dublin on the Wednesday of Glastonbury week, so quite possible.

CC are playing a festival in the Netherlands on the Friday, but still for GF if they're not at Rock Werchter or somewhere else...

They're playing Saturday at Rock at Sea or whatever it is in Holland. Probably a good chance of them appearing Friday.
