Acts Touring Around Glastonbury Time 2015

I'd love Counting Crows at the festival would be a great feel good set!

I do really like their Joni Mitchell Big Yellow Taxi cover.

I remember Years & Years cropping up in an "up and coming" list in the paper a few months ago, pegged them immediately as one of those acts you can tell you're going to be wanting to punch quite a lot in the next 18 months, they've been quite low-key yet, but I fear the assault is going to ramp up to Jake Bugg levels very soon.

I remember Years & Years cropping up in an "up and coming" list in the paper a few months ago, pegged them immediately as one of those acts you can tell you're going to be wanting to punch quite a lot in the next 18 months, they've been quite low-key yet, but I fear the assault is going to ramp up to Jake Bugg levels very soon.

Their music is utterly boring but that lead singer was bugging me for ages. Turns out he was in the god awful Murdoch film God Help The Girl, as well as that Tory film last year.

The Riot Club? It'll piss me off if he was, because that was a good film, but it did make me fucking furious, to the point I could barely drive home. Went pelting along shouting "IT'S ALL FUCKING TRUE! IT'S NOT JUST A FUCKING FILM, AND PEOPLE VOTE FOR THEM!", my friend was politely fearing for her life and suggesting that keeping the car on all 4 wheels was equally worthy of my energies, if not more so.

Listened to it this morning. It's good.

I love BBNG because you can just leave them on in the background and it always sounds nice. Would watch them if they played.

Actually quite like Years and Years (lone voice) Olly Alexander has said that he chose music over acting though rather than the other way around

Apologies if already mentioned, but what about the Waterboys? Saw them at the Roundhouse a couple of weeks ago, new album is great. Last saw them at Glastonbury in 2007, would be a great addition to Acoustic/Avalon lineups imho.

Given that Mike Scott said "see you at some festivals over the summer" on Chris Evans and from the stage at the Roundhouse I'm surprised they aren't on the rumours page.

Hadn't spotted that Cork date, not on the official site yet but found it now. They've been doing consecutive nights a fair distance apart on current tour so it could happen. In 2007 I watched them in Avalon instead of Arctics, and think they'd beat the Foos for me if the same thing happened
